We enjoyed our time. Elevators are an absolute nightmare waiting 15 mins or more for before taking the stairs several times. Other than that it was fun! Great food choices. Easy to get into the city.

I booked my solo trip to Atlantis in the Bahamas completely unexpectedly, only about 15 hours before I had to leave, and it ended up being one of the most meaningful trips I have ever taken. I stayed in the Royal Tower, which was truly a childhood dream come true for me. When I was a kid, I remember seeing Atlantis on Nickelodeon when children would win those incredible prizes, and I always thought, “One day, I am going to be there.” It took me 35 years, but I finally made it, and it was absolutely incredible. The woman who checked me in was absolutely amazing. I told her how special this moment was for me and how this exact hotel had been a dream of mine since childhood. Even though I booked through a third party, she gave me a complimentary upgrade to a one-bedroom suite, which made the trip feel even more magical. By the time check-in was finished, she honestly felt like my sister. She was that warm, genuine, and kind. The hotel itself is beautiful, iconic, and full of that larger-than-life Atlantis magic I had always imagined. I also had a beautiful dinner at Nobu. My server was nice, although a little pushy at times, but my sushi master was absolutely amazing and made the experience feel special. The only real downside is the cost of food and drinks. There are technically a lot of options, but at times it can still feel like you do not have many options because everything adds up quickly. That said, it would not stop me from staying here again. I would just recommend that anyone traveling internationally consider buying a bottle of liquor at duty-free to keep in the room. Overall, this was an amazing hotel and a dream fulfilled. I left feeling grateful, proud, and already wanting to come back.

1st of all we had a great time despite the cost and unfriendliness of the staff, but my personality affords me to roll with the bad and still have fun. If rude staff bothers you then you will get upset. Not all the staff was like this, the majority were very friendly, but I was surprised at the high number of grouchy employees. EVERYTHING here is expensive. Small bag of chips at the sundries store is $8 as an example. The closest grocery store is off the resort but not far from the Coral where you can buy some snacks and drinks for the room for your stay for more money than you’re probably used to paying but still cheaper than the resort. A nice dinner for you and the lady with drinks will easily run you $200+. Make sure you eat everything and don’t plan on leftovers. There are no microwaves in the rooms. The Coral allegedly has a microwave in the lobby you can use between 10am and 11pm. They move it inside because microwaves are “dangerous”, this is what I was told by a rude staffer. Room service will happily heat your food up for $10 though. The buildings are showing there age. Lots of renovations happening. When I return to the BAhamas I will stay at *** in downtown Nassau and get a day pass for a day to do the waterpark at ***.
