Absolutely worth a visit. Its got fantastic views and its a very modern comfortable place.

We went out for breakfast. Only decided to use the drinks facilities.

Lots of steps up to the apartment but after a few visits back and forth we got used to it. Might be not so suitable for infirm people. One good thing. The bus from the airport 1A drops you one minute away. Great.

A great place to stay in the heart of Città Alta

Excellent location, right next to the bus stop, with a view of Città Alta on one side and the entrance to the botanical garden on the other. Just a few steps from the Venetian walls and the center of Città Alta - we couldn’t have wished for better. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need. There’s a convenient setup for waste sorting. In the bedroom, a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe - you can fully unpack instead of living out of a suitcase. The host was kind and easy to communicate with, both before and during our stay.

I missed an Android TV so you can watch Netflix, for example. There’s a regular TV with only Italian channels. The bathroom is quite small and tight, but it does have a window. On the plus side, there’s a drawer and a windowsill, so you have space for toiletries. On the downside, the shower cabin is tiny — but a bigger one probably wouldn’t fit.

Excellent location, good price, wonderful apartment, very attentive host, awesome view. The apartment being on the third floor didn’t bother us at all, Citta Alta is for walkers anyways! We felt like at home.

Very nice place in the upper part of Bergamo Alta!

Casa Maria is perfectly situated in the upper part of Bergamo Alta, in fairly quiet surroundings, but with only a short walk from the main street in this beautiful medieval city. I stayed in the apartment in the cold part of the year. But it has a very good heating system and was very comfortable. I really recommend it!

Loved it. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, felt like we were right on the edge of the best part of the Alta, without being right in the middle. Perfect for getting around, and quiet at night when you want to rest. Giorgio was an excellent host, meeting us later than originally planned due to a flight schedule change at short notice, and also giving us some excellent restaurant tips. The appartment has a very comfortable, modern feeling, set against the historic old town around it.

We couldn't get the hang of the air-con unit to cool us. But the appartment was quite cool anyway, so it wasn't too much of an issue. The top floor with no lift wasn't my favourite thing, but again a very minor issue.

The owner was very friendly, accurate to the appointment and so very helpful. The apartment was at the best spot it could be. Elegant, modern, spacious with excellent view. Alta Citta of Bergamo sums up history and culture, beauty and nostalgic flair. I highly recommend Casa Maria.

Amazing location to explore Bergamo and surroundings; clean and super quiet flat close to all amenities, friendly check-in - great and recommended accommodation if two items mentioned in the improvement area section are replaced :-)

Similar to previous reviews, the bed base (very noisy) and very hard and flat pillows should be replaced.

Nicely furnished, very clean, with beautiful views and a great location in Citta Alta

Casa Maria is an exceptional apartment - nicely furnished, very clean and with beautiful views! The location is great - it is located just several metres away from the bus stop at Citta Alta where the bus (Line 1) from the airport stops. There are beautiful botanical gardens, which are open to the public with no charge, just behind the apartment building. The bathroom is modern with a shower cabin with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is fully equipped so one can prepare meals if they choose to do so. We loved having breakfast in the apartment. There is very reliable wi-fi. The bedroom is spacious with very comfortable mattress and pillows. We loved coming back to the apartment at the end of the day after exploring Bergamo and Como. The host (Giorgio) is very helpful and easy to reach if any questions need to be answered. He helped with information before our arrival and met us when we arrived to give us the keys and to the apartment. Would definitely stay there again on a repeat visit to Bergamo!

Our best spot in Bergamo

This is our second stay at Casa Maria and it was as perfect as it used to be. The apartment is super well-located, just a few meters from the Line 1 bus stop at Colle Aperto; it is clean, modern, and for a great price. Our host Giorgio was very kind to welcome us earlier than expected... We'll be back for sure!

Location , style, cleanliness helpful hosts. I also liked that there was bits of toiletries and some cooking ingredients. Air conditioner was also very effective so could sleep well. Never heard any noise from our neighbors. Bus from airport goes very close to the apartment and old city is a short walk away. Plus a wonderful coffee ice cream shop a few hundred meters away. Well worth a stay

It was on the 4 th floor and didn’t have a lift, a problem for me as I was just recovering from a broken ankle, but the view was definitely worth it. Would of liked a washing machine too as it was so hot and luggage allowance is low

Ein toller Trip nach Bergamo!

Die Lage ist fantastisch! Zu Fuß ist man in 2 Minuten in der Altstadt. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Die Wohnung ist im 3. Stock zu Fuß zu erreichen. Man kann das Auto kurz vor dem Haus abstellen zum entladen des Autos. Danach kann man in der Altstadt (teuer) oder in der Untertsadt (günstiger) parken und entweder mit einem gemütlichen Spaziergang bis hoch in die Altstadt laufen, oder bis zur Seilbahn um mit dieser hoch und dann bei einem Bummel von der Station bis zur Wohnung die Citta Alta kennenzulernen (dabei gibt es erst tolle Eindrücke und viele Möglichkeiten (Cafés und Bars) um sich zu stärken und la dolce Vita zu genießen) oder man kann mit dem Bus oder Taxi direkt zur Wohnung zurück. .

Nagyon jó helyen Cittá Altán van az apartman, 50 m a buszmegálló és a sikló is .Séta távolságra minden látnivaló. Kényelmes ágyak, a kihúzható kanapé is. Csodás kilátás az ablakból.Tisztaság, kellemes illatos ágynemű. Ha visszatérünk biztos hogy újra itt szállunk meg.

Kicsit sok a lépcső, de megéri a kilátás miatt.
