Sea View Villa with Tennis Court - Dvori sv Jurja

Absolutely stunning property, one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Just as spectacular as the photos, if not more. It is well off the beaten path but we found the road not as bad as we expected and in fact that is part of the charm of the place - we found it a really memorable and authentic slice of Hvar. The view is unparalleled, the pool is perfect, and the outdoor kitchen a dream for hot summer evenings. Spectacular starry nights with zero light pollution in the sky. We made good use of the tennis courts and the many relaxing lounge areas around the property. The stone house was cool downstairs on hot afternoons. A perfect spot to unwind and slow down. We fell into such a fever dream that we did not want to leave at the end of the week. The hosts were very kind and responsive, and when we had some minor electricity issues they were very quick to come help sort it out. I would absolutely return to this spectacular place.

The communication was slow to begin with (we had a last minute booking after another house cancelled on us), but it was quickly resolved and once we were in direct contact with the owner's son, everything was very smooth. He even met us in town and led us to the house on the first day.

Fantastic view and lots of nice gathering/seating areas.

Oven did not work. You REALLY need to warn people about the dirt road before they arrive in Stari Grad. Some cars will not make it.
