Best place to stay in Stari Grad!!

This place was by far the BEST place to stay hands down in Stari Grad. The hostess, Gabrijela, was absolutely amazing. We have been coming to Hvar for years and couldn't believe we stumbled to this place. It is stunning. Clean, roomy and the accommodations were top notch. Nothing but praise for the place and Gabrijela. My family recommends this play to any family looking for a beautiful place to stay in Stari Grad.

Beautiful Newly Renovated Apartment!!

We had a wonderful stay in Stari Grad! The apartment was beautifully renovated, with each bedroom having its own ensuite. It was a lovely 12–15 minute walk along the seafront from the ferry and only another 5–7 minutes into the middle of town, so the location was ideal. As we were a party of five, the person using the sofa bed did need to go through one of the bedrooms to use a bathroom, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. Gabriela was an amazing host — so friendly and quick to respond to all our questions. We really appreciated the welcome bottle of wine and loved having a coffee machine too (along with everything else in the fully equipped kitchen!)!! The bus stop directly across the road made it super convenient for our day trip to Hvar Town. Highly recommended!

Gabriella who greeted us was very welcoming and attentive.very comfortable stay.

The apartment was spacious and the rooms were large with ensuites. The rooms were identical. Parking was free and there was a pool. The town square and marina were with 10 minutes walk.

There was construction noise which started around 8-8:30 and didn’t end until about 18:00hrs.

Location, transportation, heated pool, nice host and brand new well equiped apartment.

The villa is located right across from a bus stop that we used from the ferry (timed with ferry arrival) and for 2.50 Euros we got dropped off with luggage right across the street, no worries. It also picked us up for our trip to Hvar city. The interior is well crafted and brand new with excellent kitchen items and a deluxe espresso machine. A bottle of wine was waiting for us and the host showed us everything including a bbq in the back of the pool area that we cooked our evening meal from groceries in town. For 40 Euros, our group of 4 couples ate well. The old town is within walking distance and is lively but not over crowded. The pool was heated and very clean!

The bbq did not have charcoal or wood and we had to walk to town and the store did not have any either so we went to a local pizza place and they gave us their last bag along with some fire wood. Really nice.

Gorgeous apartment!

The location was perfect - right opposite a bus stop which took us all over the island and walking distance from the Port and all the restaurants. The coffee machine was a lovely unexpected touch. We cooked a couple of meals and the only thing I would comment on is the property would benefit from a chopping board and a cheese grater! Other than that, it was perfect X

Location and Service, What More Could You Ask For?

Gabriela and Karlo were amazing and exceeded all expectations to make our stay as comfortable as possible. From arranging for transportable to recommendations on places to dine to recommending great shopping areas.

Unfortunate the Air Conditioning was not working during our stay which made things uncomfortable, however Gabriela did her best to try to fix the Air Conditioning, but was advised it was out for the whole villa and would need a replacement part and someone to attend to repair the air conditioning.

The apartment was immaculately clean and well set out. Each room having it's own large ensuite was great! The jewel in the crown was being able to relax in the lovely outdoor pool after the days sightseeing :-) Thank you for having us!

So clean and modern, spacious, a wonderful pool, very kind property managers, and just 5 min walk to the lovely Stari Grad old town and waterfront. Both Gaby and her son Petar were available at any moment and Petar’s English is perfect so that made communication very easy. They work very hard to give guests a perfect experience. New soaps, shampoos, and other toiletries were wrapped up in the bathrooms. Plenty of thick, soft towels. We were able to cook and wash our clothes as well. We even received a welcome gift and a good-bye gift:) The neighbor was very friendly as well. We went several times to the beautiful and secluded Zukova Beach just 12 min drive away (pick up a sandwich at Tommy on the way and park at “Vaiana” parking lot). A dream would to be live at Villa Patricia!

I loved how the apartment was set up with everything one would need to make you feel like you were home. It was very clean and Gaby was the perfect host.

Comfortable accommodation a short walk from the waterfront

It was clean and well equipped. Ana greeted us and offered us extra towels if we needed them (we did). The pool area is so convenient and kept tidy by Ana daily. The location is excellent. An easy stroll along the riva to the old town, right across the road from the bus stop and with parking. The air conditioning in each room worked easily and well. The shutters were brilliant to keep out the light, heat and noise of the road in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. And it was nice that Ana was around and easy to communicate with.

The beds were a bit too soft for us but that’s a personal preference, not a fault with the property! An instruction sheet for the coffee machine would be a great addition too. We figured it out eventually though.

Great hosts and location

Hosts were very good communicating about recommendations for transfers and arrival times. Their daughter was with them on our arrival to explain in English how everything works. Rooms are comfy, spacious with en suites with all you could need. Pool is great with lots of inflatables to keep the kids entertained. Nice bottle of wine and chocolates from the hosts on arrival, and a small gift on departure. Easy walk into Stari Grad with lots of nice restaurants, and 5 euros by bus per person into Hvar on the bus with the stop across the road.

Sadly the wifi on the first night was non-existent much to the disappointment of our children who'd got excited about the digital TVs in the lounge and bedrooms. It did improve slightly and is the only thing stopping us giving a 10/10.

Friendly owners, amazing pool, very modern building, full kitchen, luxurious decor and bathrooms. Location is a short 5 minute walk to centre of Stari Grad, and the bus to the Split Ferry was literally on the doorstep. Owners spoke no English, but were friendly and we were able to get by through communicating in broken German.

Air conditioning was quite weak. Even on lowest temp and highest speed it was pretty hot. Was enough to take edge off the heat however.

The location was super top of the road you can see the boats crossing in the harbour 3 minute walk down,The appt is fabulous with swimming pool sun beds table for eating on wow,the apartment is spacious and quality with balconies back and front.Lets not forget i presume the owners mum and dad they were wonderful and as much our language may be differant we had many a chat a big thank you from us.

Property was excellent, very clean and well maintained. Great location 5 minute to the Riva, bus stop opposite for travel into Hvar town or Jelsa.

Perhaps a light blanket or throw to be added to the bedding as there was only a single sheet and it did get chilly on the occasional night.

Fantastic apartment, squeaky clean, very modern and comfortable. Air conditioning, shutters amazing coffee machine. Great location, very quiet but very close to old town. Communication with host was very good, Cazmatrans bus stop directly opposite. We could not rate high enough. If we ever go back to Stari Grad we will definitely book again.
