Great bang for the bucks - I highly recommend the place

Facility was not fancy but functional, well maintained and clean. Beds were really good slept well and enjoyed the terass seating area. Everything worked. Had the fortune to meet the host and we had som helpful exchanges of traveling/living experiences.

Sharing toilet, kitchen and terrass does pose both opportunities to meet new people bu also risk comfort if your suit mates don’t behave well.I had the place for myself (off season) and have no complaint whatsoever ever.

location was very good, balcony was nice and the ac worked well. owner is super nice and gave us all the info we needed in time. kitchen had everything we needed

Average apartment. Small room. You get what you pay for. Good location for staying on the island if you miss out on Hvar town. Stari grad is much less touristic and more authentic although jelsa was the nicest town on the island.

Balcony was not private. You’re sharing the bathroom and toilet with upto 4 other people so reliant on them keeping the shared facilities clean. The cleaning ladies visit in the morning and were lovely. Passive aggressive signs throughout the property. Including strange ones ‘only one person in the shower’..lol..wut? Another person couldn’t work out using the washing machine.

Everything, the host is lovely. Location is perfect. For the price you pay this is a bargain! I have been traveling around Croatia for 2 weeks now staying in a mixture of hostels, apartments and rooms only and this one has been my Favourite yet.

Nice room. Good value for money. All information you need are available without seeing any human. Everything is well described. Close to the center and a supermarket. I would definitely book it again.

At first all the orders written on papers all over the house make you feel unwelcome but I do understand that some tourist don't behave civilized.

Excellent location, easy to find, parking off street, friendly host waiting to greet us. Travelling on business so used our own data for internet, did not try the wifi. Basic facilities but clean and suitable for our needs.

Great place for a relaxed vacation

Room in a lovely clean house. Great facilities with a very complete kitchen. Walking distance from everything in the cosy village of stari grad and from some nice swimming spots along the boulevard. Also close to busses to the ferry and to Hvar city. Lots of notes in the house on how to use the facilities or how to get somewhere.

The room we stayed in was very small. Almost no space to walk when we put our backpacks down.

Zoran was a great host. He was very friendly and always available if you needed anything. Great location as well! Close to the grocery store and town center. Everything was clean and exactly as listed on the booking. The spacious balcony was great for coffee in the morning and relaxing at the end of the night.

Good location in stari grad. Clean rooms and nice terrace to sit outside. Free parking options. Good value for money. We cycled to Jelsa for a day with the mountain bikes, which was a lot of fun to do. Along the way you will come across many nice beaches. The mountainbikers where included.

L’endroit où il faut aller pour séjourner à Stari Grad

Everything is as in the announcements and the common areas (kitchen, bathroom and WC) are super clean: Zoran is an exceptional person who will give you a warm welcome (watermelon, coffee, tea, etc.) who will tell you where to go to see marvellous things, where to eat .. plus you have a free mountain bike per person and that's great! I can only recommend Zoran's rooms because it feels right at home and the double rooms have their own terrace 👍🏻 Don't hesitate!

Stay at the Holiday House Oleas

The location is great. The room and the rest of the facilities were clean. The host was kind and welcoming. Since our ferry was leaving later in the afternoon, the host was kind enough to allow us to leave our belongings in the house past 10:00 a.m. so we could still spend some time in Stari Grad, without having to lug our luggage around the town.

A welcome surprise

The place is convenient and super clean, nearby everything and the host is the so far the nicest I've encountered, sweet, convenient and nice. Zoran greeted us, offered tea and coffee, some bikes to get around, and recommended a good place to eat cheap when we asked. You don't have to trust me tho, book it and make up your mind 😊

Poor

Starting from the beginning, the photos that are shared are not belong to the house, it's just another house there. This is mesleading people. Place looks clean but when you look, you clearly see that dirtyness is covered with dark colors, for exp dark sheets... There was actually no kitchen that we can use in the house... The coffee which was made by the owner, the behavior was kind, but there was a dead fly inside my coffee and imagine that you realize that while drinking...It's disgusting! After living the place I got allergetic because of something there. It was horrible for me.
