Appartamento Franca

The apartment was like a home away from home. Franca communicated the check-in process very well and easily. She explained the bus routes to catch bus to the apartment after visiting the city and other places of interest. The view from the balcony was lovely and a great place to unwind after a long day of touring Lake Como.

Just a hint for other travellers - if catching the Bus 7 back to the apartment, get off at the stop called Mameli and not Nino Bixio 31. Otherwise you need to walk uphill on a narrow road with no footpath - which is a bit scary!

Franca ist eine super freundliche Gastgeberin, die uns sehr hilfreiche Tipps für Unternehmungen, Fähre, Bus usw. gegeben hat. Für leckeres Frühstück hatte sie alles eingekauft, es gab sogar Prosecco und Orangensaft. Verschiedene Müsli, Toast, Eier, Bacon, Obst, süßes Gebäck… wir mussten somit kein Geld in Como ausgeben für Frühstück :) In der Unterkunft hat es uns an nichts gefehlt, sehr tolle Ausstattung und der Blick vom Balkon auf den See ist wunderschön: morgens beim Frühstück, aber auch nachts. Wenige Meter von der Unterkunft ist eine Bushaltestelle mit häufiger Verbindung zum Zentrum, man kommt aber auch schnell (ca. 10-15 Minuten) zu Fuß runter zur Villa Olmo. Aber zurück den Berg hoch haben wir lieber den Bus gewählt :) Bei der Hitze im Sommer war auch die Klimaanlage im gesamten Appartment perfekt, kann man aber auch ausschalten, wenn man diese nicht mag. Wir können die Unterkunft nur jedem empfehlen!

Von vorne bis hinten perfekt. Die Gastgeberin Franca ist super herzlich und hilfsbereit. Toller Blick über den See und schnell in der Stadt.

Grand appartement avec belle terrasse sur la ville. Place de parking. Merci à Franca pour sa gentillesse et pour les nombreuses attentions mises à disposition dans le logement. Du jamais vu pour nous. Je recommande vivement

Parking un peu impressionnant à première vu mais finalement accessible. A voir pour les voitures un peu basse !.
