During checkin Marcella really took the time to explain everything about the house and facilities. Plus we sat down and she gave a printed list with all the best restaurants and things to see/do in Matera. Even though she did not speak English perfectly we managed with an translating app where necessary. The room was cozy and had a private bathroom, the house has a shared dining table, living room and terrace. Was not bothered by other guests.
Sometimes there are dogs barking in the evening, but it did not disturb sleep for me. Really recommended to have a car to get easily to the city center, walking is quite far, Marcella did point out which parking garages were the best so that was nice.

Ontbijt was echt Italiaans, erg lekker. Locatie als je met de auto bent ook goed. Om de hoek zit daar een pizzeria en een wasserette. Pizza €7 en was €4 of €7 afhankelijk van de grootte van de wasmachine.
