Bassa Villa

Excellent location, full of character and history

One of the bed sheets had a note to say it was clean, but was stained, which was quite off-putting. A more detailed description of the parking facilities including charges should be better.

Lovely quirky historic hotel /pub in Low Town. All rooms are accessed by narrow stairs. However despite being on the top floor I managed the stairs fairly easily, it was worth it for the views over the River Severn. The pub was busy when we arrived at lunchtime but closes relatively early - there is separate access for the rooms. We had a comfortable room but a bath and no shower (room 5) whichvwas fine for 1 night. The Bassa Villa doesn't have a car park - we used the nearby council car park which wasn't expensive at the weekend and was a 5 minute walk. Breakfast isn't served here but the tea room opposite did a lovely brunch and there are plenty of nearby options. We had a great stay in Bridgnorth and we were lucky enough to get a peek into the other interesting rooms at The Bassa as they were being cleaned as we left. Really enjoyed our stay and would happily return (asking for a River view ideally).

The rooms at the front can be noisy late at night at the weekend. Not an issue for us but might not suit everyone.

Great location, lovely pub on the river

Very noisy , other guests must of been accross multiple rooms, wether they were coming in a 5:30 am or going out I couldn’t tell but they were extremely noisy shouting each other
