Accommodation was pretty good but would not eat there again
Had full English breakfast costing £12. Black Pudding was like old leather. Bacon tough but manageable all together not good value.
Evening meal was pretty average as liver seemed tasteless expected better meal for £17

Good but let down by poor staff. (but it was the new year period so understand they were busy)
Didn't take up the breakfast option, but load of other options nearby. Good sized room with a lovely view of the river severn. Room very quiet and totally secure with access only via 3 separate doors.
Staff were poor, room didn't have any toilet paper so requested some. Staff then "forgot" as they were busy ? Not good enough and lame excuse that they were busy. No parking but very good public car park just round the corner.

Just wanted my money didn’t care about my requirements very let down .
Where it is based
Requested on booking lower based room as struggle with mobility with bad legs , completely ignored and was put into the highest room possible , 2 flight of stairs . Which was a massive struggle , was treated like when I said this on checking in not my problem it is what it is .

Fab pub with rooms
Fabulous position overlooking the river, and reasturants and town . Very large disabled room on ground floor, massive walk wet room with lovely shower bed massive and comfy if you like a medium mattress.. Staff, John very accommodating and informative on booking in showed us to room and gave us info re breakfast and different use of keys .. We bought breakfast from the hotel, lovely choices and cooked to my preference.
Pillows fluffy but soft ..corrected it by putting scatter cushion under and had good sleep. Sad food menu not on after 5.30 on sunday, but was aware before going so not a shock ..
