I would stay here again and confidently recommend it to others.
The owners are SO wonderful. They were communicative, thoughtful, and provided a delicious fresh breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and had great views of the town. It was also a great location and a short walk to everything we wanted to see/do.

Adequate with Shortcomings
Le Cep is ideally located in the Heart of Sancerrois. Our room was quiet and comfortable with excellent views. Breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the host and hostess.
The toilet closet reeked of urine. The property was disorderly in general, especially compared to the photos. Google refused to let me connect to the internet with a red warning of : "connection is not secure..." and a discussion with the host proved unfruitful. To be fair we also had this problem at a small hotel in Nevers so maybe an ISP problem in the area. I see such warnings every several years when travelling.

Beautiful refuge looking out to the Sancerre vineyards.
Run by a delightful couple, the room has a spectacular view over the Sancerre rooftops to the vineyards beyond. Wonderful breakfast with a most personable host. And a beautiful garden for relaxing in back.

Location was very central to Sancerre village. Ideally placed to discover the area. Staff very friendly.
