Wonderful decor, great location and finished to a high standard

There isn't anything we didn't like

All about location. In an umbrella decorated lane - very pretty and perfect for central square. Very spacious room with exceptional bathroom ( large shower, bath and double sinks). Bed was large and comfortable with very nice, high quality cottons. Good sized minibar/fridge. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast.

There were a few minor niggles with the room eg ambient battery lighting not working, bathrobe and slippers missing, no milk for coffee etc but the front desk staff were efficient in helping to sort this out. Personally I found the room too warm as the air con only went as low as 19 - other places we stayed were cooler. The terrace garden, accessible from the room appeared neglected and was not very pleasant. Almost all of the plants and trees looked like they were dying and the terrace needed a good sweep - it was not appealing. I know there was a heat wave but other hotels kept plants alive.

The room was available earlier which was very useful - super comfortable and right in the middle of town. The main doors are in a pedestrian area but you can park close by - so that was not a problem for us. Central to the whole town and close to the bars and restaurants - would definitely recommend

Nothing - everything was great

Very central to the town. Lovely room.

No human to welcome you. No idea where our room was or how to get into it as it’s was all confirmed by email but our room door code was only texted and I didn’t see it. No clue or instructions as to how the electrical controls worked on all the window blinds or even where they were so we couldn’t open them until we found them before we checked out. No access code to the roof garden which was advertised. A massive bathroom with no shower whatsoever so anyone old would struggle to get in and out of the bath and apparently our 200 euros for the night didn’t include breakfast. The Wi-Fi was a qr code that didn’t work so no Wi-Fi . When we did meet the staff for the 1st time at checkout they were very friendly and gave us a coffee. 1 coffee bag and 1 tea bag each in a room with no staff is a joke at those prices.
