Avon Guesthouse

Room was comfortable and Guesthouse staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was available for our car. Most the town was easily within walking distance.

Everything was fine, but air conditioning isn't a common provision in the area so I would recommend a fan for hot days.

The location is fab! 10 min walk or so to the mainline train station and about 10 min walk into the town centre. Right by a bus stop as well if you needed to take public transport. Twin room a good size, comfortable and clean. En suite was clean. Kettle in room for tea and coffee. (Always a must!). Julie was really friendly and offered great insights for the local area. The resident dog was also a welcome sight everytime we left or returned. Loved that Jet was so friendly and always met you with a tail wag! Despite being on a main road, even with the window open as it was so warm, traffic noise was minimal and no noise from other guests was heard.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We really appreciated the convenient parking arrangements. The location was great, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this guesthouse.
