Hunter House Holiday Apartment - York

We stayed at Hunter house 01. The location is top notch, I don’t think you will find anywhere else that is such an easy walk to landmarks, bakeries, cafes, pubs and everything in between. We caught the train and walked here, it was very easy to find. The property is much bigger than I had originally thought, has gorgeous high ceilings and is a very spacious apartment with comfortable beds, lovely view over Goodramgate where we watched parades and performances and had everything you needed in a fully functioning kitchen. We have really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in York.

The property was very spacious with a nice shower with a good standard of cleanliness.

Cannot fault the property itself but the location being right in the heart of York on a very noisy street made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. There was a near constant noise echoing in the narrow street from 5am with dust carts and what seemed like building work. Next time I would choose an apartment in a much quieter residential area.

Absolutely loved this unit. The location was perfect for easy access to all of York centre. It's a huge apt with plenty of space, equipped with everything we needed for a 9-day stay (including fans, a crucial amenity on warm days!). Two full bathrooms are a rare find in UK rentals. Communication with the property manager was easy, reliable, and very friendly. Would definitely stay here on another visit!
