It was a lovely cabin, super cozy. We kept it warm with the log burner, the bed was super comfy.

Beautiful inside and out, perfect for stargazing

I needed a break away from life- this is exactly what I got! Feel like you’re in the middle of no where in a valley- so peaceful and natural. Just me and the dog, and the cosiest hut. The stars were so clear too.

The kitchen tap was leaking which i’d seen in a previous review. The fridge being outside was a bit difficult when it was cold and raining outside. Could also really benefit from a curtain on the main doors as people walking to get their horses could see me anytime getting changed etc.

A beautiful and quiet haven of peace and a break from life's hubbub!

We both absolutely loved the Shepherd's Hut. It is situated in a quiet part of the farm, with a beautiful view of the countryside and is quite private. We loved being able to see the birdlife and to feed the smaller birds. The hut is small but has all that one needs for self-catering, and the bed is extremely comfortable. We loved that the hosts are eco-friendly and committed to sustainable tourism. It was also magical to sit out at night under a dark sky and view the stars, after a barbecue dinner. Great place!

The only fridge is quite small and located outside of the hut for space reasons. Whilst it is adequate for a few items, it is a bit of a problem to get to it when it is windy and raining! The folding chairs are also somewhat uncomfortable (although, once again practical for storage), so it is not really feasible to read a book for long period outside of the bed!

All facilities in the accommodation for a comfortable stay. Underfloor heating and the log burner made it very cosy and a great shower too. Beautiful views and very quiet. A lot of effort made to make the accommodation as green as possible.

Lovely snug shepherds hut, ideal for a short break stay to explore the Brecon Beacons.

The views and the farm animals, horses and dogs. The electric hob worked very efficiently. The bbq was great and outside area very romantic sitting and watching the moon rise over the horizon. Bed was very comfortable and all clean. The spacious bathroom area.

Hideaway for the Summer Solstice

Amazing 1 night stay. So beautiful and scenic . The hut had all you needed to be comfortable with the comfiest bed. Tea and coffee and milk provided in a little fridge just outside the hut. If you need peace and quiet, this is perfect. I stayed alone for the Summer Solstice. A steep but lovely walk uphill to some amazing views. Friendly owner too. Very Eco friendly too. I will return.

Lovely remote farm with gorgeous views. The complementary fresh milk and cakes on arrival were a nice touch. And our dog loved the freedom of the enclosed private garden.

We found it lacked storage space for our clothes but it didnt affect our stay.

Amazing, just what we needed to get away from the rat race

It was very cosy and comfy. The bed was amazing. Kitchen had everything you could need. The shower was lovely, perfect view over the fields and horses. Lovely little touches in the hut, wood left for the fire, charcoal for the BBQ outside. Watching the farm animals was a delight. Most spectacular views to sit and watch from the patio.

only negative would be access. luckily our vehicle was suited for that road however other lower cars would struggle to get access through the driveway
