Casa Bucalo Taormina

The roof terrace was exceptional. View over Taormina was amazing and very special to lie in the pool or hammock to view Mt Etna in one direction or the Greek amphitheatre in the other. Excellent location very close to the Corso but away from the noise and within walking distance to everything. Hosts Debby and Tony were kind and generous with their time and have an apartment at the property and so on hand to solve issues and care about your holiday. It was so nice that we will return to Taormina to stay at the property next year. We loved it.

What wasn't there to like?! The location is superb, the space is beautifully Sicilian, the hosts are amazing. This spot is an absolute gem tucked at the top of Taoromina. We felt like we were staying in someone's home, while having all the privacy needed. Deby was an amazing host and meeting little Lolita was a highlight. Photos do not do it justice. If you're thinking about staying here, just book it! You'll love a dip in the pool after a hot day exploring and a glass of local wine watching the incredible views from the balcony.

Only that we didn't book a longer stay and that Australia is too far away to visit often!

The location was wonderful and we really appreciated the rooftop terrace which was beautiful. The host, Deby, was fantastic - very helpful and always available for us.
