It would be hard to find a better location within the walls of this medieval city. The view through the Porto Mezzo (middle gate) to the Piazza April IX is often filled with strolling tourists. In the late evening and in the morning you are left nearly alone to stop by the popular cafes, explore the narrow alleys or wander through idyllic public gardens.
The rooms are large with high ceilings and on a chilly April morning it takes a while to warm things up with the heat pump/ AC unit.

Great position as the house is located just in the right spot if you like to be in the city center.
The flip side is that the house is also locates in the most noisy spot of Taormina where 4 restaurants/pubs/bars fight to gain the attention of customers using really loud music up to midnight and over. This generate an unpleasant mixed loud noise that is hard to enjoy.
