Donna Rosa - Main Avenue

This apartment is in prime position in the centre of Taormina town, just a few steps from the Main Street. The facilities were good, effective aircon and fridge, enough space to not feel cramped. Would recommend for location if wanting to stay in the town, opposed to beachside. We were checked in early, dispute some confusing and repetitive communication across bookings and what’s app, the check in process was very easy and were met on site. Would recommend this apartment.

The apartment was clean, although smelt quite musty, and the bathroom drain had a terribly strong smell when we first arrived, which seemed to dissipate over the 48hrs we were there. The glassware in the cupboard was dirty and the mugs held the musty smell of the apartment, however all resolved with a wash, unfortunately no tea towel provided.

La posizione centralissima e la casa con il terrazzino ed un balconcino che affaccia direttamente sul corso principale. L’appartamento molto confortevole, letto comodo, frigo grande. Davvero tutto a portata di mani. Anche gli infissi ottimi, che una volta chiusi insonorizzavano completamente l’appartamento

La difficoltà a trasportare i bagagli dovuta alle scale , ma il titolare ci ha comunque aiutati nel trasporto

Localização, conforto, tudo novo e bem decorado, mimos como bebidas e snacks que ajudam após uma longa viagem, rápida resposta do host Loris. Se voltar para Taormina me hospedarei no mesmo lugar!

The host was very helpful and responsive in managing the arrival - we couldn't take the car right to the property but we met him nearby and he helped us move the luggage down to the property before taking the car away to park it. The location was perfect - just 50 foot from Corso Umberto where the restaurants, shops, cafes are but being very quiet and private nonetheless. The property was clean & tidy, secure and quite well appointed with the expected facilities. We were given a recommendation for a nearby restaurant, with money off the bill, which had one of the best views in the town.

1. We hadn't appreciated that one of the bedrooms was reached by a narrow circular stairs, had quite a low ceiling and, being immediately below the roof and without air con, it got very warm even during the evening. There was a fan, which had to be kept on full. The occupant coped but it wasn't ideal at all. 2. It wasn't a problem for us but the parking arrangements might not be suitable for someone who wants to use their car regularly or without much notice.
