Location was great. Apartment is a good size for families.

While the accommodations met our needs, the atmosphere felt less warm than we experienced at our other stays in Sicily.

The hosts were amazing! They were communicating with us via what's app to ensure that we were able to access the property with ease. They met us to help with our luggage and gave us tips for where to park our car and catch the free shuttle bus.

The apartment was in need of a refurbishment to say the least. It looked really shabby and was completely overpriced. The photos made it look good but it was really dark and dreary. We’ve stayed in vastly better hotels/apartments in Italy which were much cheaper. We understand Taormina is a tourist Mecca but this was a disappointment. Apart from a bottle of water, there was nothing to welcome anyone. A cheap bottle of wine goes a long way and some decent toiletries and towels cost next to nothing. There was also a horrible grub insect next to the loo brush which made me wonder about the general cleanliness (the sofa in the B&B area also needs a good steam clean).
