Loved the location , the apartment and pool area

All the steps to get out of complex , was not aware of this before we booked and we had my 87 year old father with us so this was a struggle. Also the internet service was awful. It was very hit and miss .

Perfect location in the heart of Taormina, fabulous apartment with stunning views and plenty of space

Bathrooms are quite dated and shower is very small

Hosts Emmanuelle and Xenia were excellent. Emmanuelle happily answered questions before we arrived and even reserved us some of his local favourite restaurants. While Xenia met us late at night to show us the apartment, where everything is in Taormina, and gave us her number, should we need her to reserve restaurants and book taxis etc. She even took us to get something to eat on our arrival, as the kids were hungry. The apartment is very spacious and well-equipped, with bath towels and pool towels provided. The only niggle is that the second bathroom doesn't have a standing shower. It's the terrace that is the standout here. Sweeping views across the bay ahead, it was a treat to wake up and look at it every time. The pool is also great - with plenty of sunbeds, although it did get busy on occasions. Okay for us, as we could go to our terrace directly. Location-wise. Perfect. You are so close to the Corso Umberto and all the restaurants, shops and bars. Easy to get everywhere by foot. Including the cable cars down to the beach and taxi rank. All in all we had a wonderful week, and thanks to Xenia and Emmanuelle.
