I would have preferred the option of an apartment with a view.

Amazing & impeccable experience! Such tasteful interior decoration.High quality & luxurious accomodation, we felt we were staying in a 5 star hotel. Beautifully eqpuiped apartment. Convenient & safe parking onsite with fee, (no other alternative parking available unless you want to walk a thousand steps).Walkable to town centre & beach (lots of steps, but we are all in our 60's & 70's & managed taking it slowly).Massimo our host is such a kind & lovely helpful landlord; his communication with us via Whatsapp was exemplary. An unforgettable experience in Taormina!

The apartment very large and comfortable. Asked for parking and we had a secure spot one the roof which cost $20 per day. The view from the apartment was great you can see the ocean and Mt. Etna from the kitchen or patio. Love Taormina usually stay at hotels which I prefer but no hotel that I stayed at on previous visits were available for the days I needed.

Going up the winding, narrow road to the apartment and unless you don't have a car and use Uber or Taxi you could not walk up to the apartment from town. Advertised as close to city center Some drivers would not drive up. The only parking in Taormina is paid parking at the bottom by the funicular. So if you a find a spot then pay for parking and $15 per person to get up to town with the funicular its better to call Uber or taxi both ways. I prefer hotels
