About this apartment rental
English-style mansion built in 1939 by the rich old owner Sir. Robert Pretty Barlow, admirer of beauty and good living. A precursor of modern gay culture, he hosted writers, painters and illustrious travelers. He himself a traveler, helped to make Taormina known to many of his countrymen and others.
The apartment is located on the first floor of the house in a very central and panoramic position, overlooking the Etna, the Bay of Giardini Naxos and the Badia Vecchia, one of the most significant monuments of the city.

Furio and Paola are the very best hosts! The house is situated in easy walking distance to the Corso Umberto and restaurants. The Hotel Continental across the street has rooftop breakfast and bar. Paola helped make dinner reservations and gave so many good suggestions. I highly recommend staying with these hosts! Five Stars.

This is the most magical place we stayed at during our trip to Sicily. Furio the host is most helpful. The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. We would love to come back.

Furio was an amazing host! He helped line up a valet to park the car (a must!!) and made reservations at two terrific restaurants—among our best meals in Italy! The attractive apartment is in great location with fantastic views of Mt Etna and the sea, and within easy walking distance of everything.

The appartment is very well situated. Furio , the host, was very kind and helpfull. He did everything for our happiness. The valet for the car is easy.
