Donna Franca was a perfect place to stay. Less than a 5 minute walk to the main areas of Taormina but on a relatively quiet side road. Apartment itself was clean and spacious and right beside a grocery store if you plan on doing your own cooking. Alex was a perfect host, extremely responsive and helped us organize valet parking (€20/day) that drops your car back whenever you need it. The coffee machine broke and he had a new one in less than a day and gave us a local traditional cake to make up for it along with a small welcome package which was all greatly appreciated.
Very little that we didn't love and all things completely outside of Alex's control. It's a booking.com issue but we incorrectly thought that we had access to the hot tub but that's only the other apartment so just double check you have the correct one. The only other thing just to flag is the roads around Taormina and the apartment are very narrow so to take car if you're renting a car!

The sunrise is beautiful if you can get up like 6am and find the correct direction. Jacuzzi is definitely the best of the best especially when it's cold at night and early morning!
It's a pity that the heating towel facility is not working during April and before winter time but you can get enough sunlight at the terrace for sure.

This is an exceptional find and we loved our stay at DONNA FRANCA. The location is ideal, less than 5 minute walk away from the main street with high quality restaurants and shops nearby. The terrace was fantastic, with amazing views and a suntrap during the day! The hotub was the icing on the cake. Coming back to it in the evenings was a real treat. Alex is a great host, super responsive giving us great recommendations and was always on hand to help with any questions. The apartment itself has everything you need with a special mention for the comfortable bed and great shower! Couldn't recommend it highly enough and we would definitely return when visiting Taormina.
