The view was stunning great for coffee any time

Elegant, modern and spacious apartment just outside the hectic of the inner city of Taormina. Comfortable beds, two batchrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Very quiet, beautiful view on the bay. In 3 minutes walking you were neer shops and restaurants. Very helpful to have private parking on the roof. Use of the elevator only allows small cars (which makes sense in Sicily anyway). Antonio was very helpful. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Great view (to the north), great location (close to city center), and large apartment.

The second bedroom lacks air-conditioning and has an uncomfortable, very squeaky bunk bed with no side table. The parking at the property requires you to drive your car into a tiny car elevator and then maneuver it very carefully to a roof deck to park. When you want to leave, it is extremely difficult to get the car back into the elevator due to the location of columns and other cars blocking your path. It took 25 minutes to get the car out and was very stressful. Do not rent this apartment if you have a car! Further, in addition to the lock on the door to the apartment, there are two lock gates between you and the street. When you check out, you need to unlock both of those gates, return to the apartment via the elevator, leave the keys in the apartment and then close the door behind you (locking access to the keys). Unfortunately, in the meantime, someone relocked the final gate at the street which required us to climb over the fence. What a poor design to the checkout process! While the apartment has a dishwasher, it came with no dishwasher detergent. Also, while generally clean, the apartment could benefit from a deep cleaning. Finally, while it has a great view to the north, the view is not of Mt. Etna, which is one of the main reasons to come to Taormina. For these reasons, I would not recommend this apartment.
