Location was great: 5 minutes on foot from many restaurants and sights. Parking was right on the other side of the road. Beds were comfortable.
All lights are remote-controlled but very difficult to operate independently (sounds stupid, but it was extremely frustrating when we wanted to turn off ONE light and all lights went off...). The room and living space are very minimalistic. The parking is paid every day (1000 yen).

A basic but comfortable small apartment in a convenient location. Beds were comfy and it was roomy enough for the two of us. We did find it odd there wasn’t a kettle, so had to use the microwave to boil water for tea and coffee. Other kitchen supplies were very basic but we didn’t attempt to cook anything. Good location to walk into the old part of town and to the morning markets, and less than 10 minutes to the station.

The location was in the city and the apartment-hotel was walking distance to the old town Sanmachi suji, and the morning market. It was great exploring the many lanes of old houses, getting to sample sake and the eateries
What we dearly wanted was a washing machine, and the apartment did not have one
