The location and size of the house was good. The furnishings were authentic and definitely had a traditional Japanese feel to it.

All but 2 beds were so uncomfortable with the springs digging into us as we tried to sleep. The owner kindly delivered another futon to make the springy mattress more bearable. We would have liked somewhere comfortable to sit and watch movies at night. There was a TV and a projector movie screen but no couch/sofa, only small cushions on the floor which were so uncomfortable. After long days of walking on holidays it would have been nice to have somewhere to relax after a long day. The shower drain was clogged and the bath tiles looked like they needed a good clean. Unfortunately it made me not want to take a bath.

Great location! Close to shops and coffee and restaurants; we were able to walk everywhere, including the Miyagawa morning markets, which was just a few minutes away. The interior is so clean and comfortable. The tatami mats and bedding were so comfortable. The tub was great for soaking, and I loved the little patio area, where I enjoyed my coffee each morning. Having two toilets made this property very convenient for our family of five. Host was very helpful with recommendations. Highly recommend!

One room with tatami keys smelled strongly of grass, but once the air conditioning is on, it’s okay.

Mooie plek, ruime accommodatie, fijne voorzieningen (douche en bad)

Er hing een rare geur boven op de verdieping van de slaapkamers, vooral op 1 slaapkamer was de geur erg penetrant
