The size, facilities and the service. Having breakfast food provided to cook and prepare at your leisure was great. The location was good.
The property is a little tricky to find and would but we got there.

Excellent accommodation and even better service. Attention to detail was evident. The place was immaculate. All the accessories were top notch and high end. Location is central and close to all the attractions. 8 mins walk from bus station and within 5 mins walk to the old town. Even more impressive was the service. Owner’s response to questions was immediate. I had sent my luggage from Tokyo so that I could stop over at Mastumoto castle for few hours. I simply asked the owner about the location the baggage center so that I can pick my luggage and she went out and picked it for me and dropped it at the accommodation. What an amazing host. She even took my daughter to her salon and provided her oxygen chamber treatment. My daughter loved it. After this experience, I would not even consider another place in Takayama. Thank you for making our trip so memorable.

The property is spacious with a big upstairs room with beds and a very comfortable sitting area. Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen with a big dining room table. It was great to spread out. The location is fantastic being close to the train, the Main Street and other places of interest. It is within a moments walk of restaurants. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay easy and comfortable.

The location was perfect. The house itself was so wonderful. It had everything we needed and the decoration was so lovely. It had all the kitchen equipment you would need to cook a meal if you want, there is a big kitchen space to eat your meals and there is a super cosy place in the bedroom to watch tv and chill out in the evening. The breakfast offering was super fresh and delicious - but the hosts were probably the best bit - very lovely and welcoming!
There was honestly nothing. We had such a brilliant time here.
