The beauty of the whole place.
What I expected for such a historical place
The food was excellent we only had breakfast .
Cheddington cheese breakfast highly recommended.
The manager was a great guy nothing too much .
No shaver point in bathroom for hubby
Only one bannister rail on stairs.
That's just because I need 2 as I am over 70.

The friendliness of all staff made the stay more enjoyable. It's located next to a lake with lovely walks. Breakfast was super in terms of quality and quantity. I would definitely stay again.
You had to check out at 10 but for £20 you can stay until 12.

The front of house staff (who also worked the bar/restaurant floor) were an absolute delight.
They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, as were the morning staff who admittedly I didn't interact with as much due to me being out the door fairly early each morning.
There was also plenty of parking, the food was lovely, and the room was quiet which was perfect for me.
There wasn't much to not like, I wasn't in the room for a prolonged period as I was more using it as a base of operations for viewing the area.
