Great holiday location for a few nights to relax

Central location in the middle of town. Great apartment with sufficient cooking utensils. Beds were comfortable.

Great stay for family vacation

The place is very spacious. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. It is conveniently located near restaurants and stores. The train station is nearby too. The owner always responded to my messages quickly.

There is no assigned parking space, though we were able to find free parking nearby.

We felt very fortunate to have found this place for our stay in sweet Bacharach.

It was near the train station and on the single main street in town. Our ground floor apartment was very big and comfortable.

That there is no proprietor on-site and entry instructions were in German (we did not ask for English instructions) the ability to phone or text the proprietor for clarifications could be very important. We were ok though. Caution: Some local eateries etc. are cash only!

Lots of room in great location.

The location, ground floor, extremely large, cooking facilities a bonus but we didn't use, great communication with owner, would suit a family.

Nothing really but bath towels very small and slightly threadbare.

We had a very nice stay, mainly due to the location, but the appartments could use some work.

The location is very nice in the middle of the mainstreet with free parking options nearby. Also the communication with the host was very good, willing to give tips of the area etc. There are 2 appartments, one has a kitchen so with a group you will use that one the most.

The apartment was not very clean, especially the bathrooms could you use a good clean up. There are many broken lights in the apartment, including no lights in the kitchen so that is not practical. When this is improved the stay will be much more pleasant.

Great apartment in a great location. Highly recommended.

The location in Bacharach is perfect for exploring the “Romantic Rhein” (small and quaint, but connected to the rail and river boat networks); easy access by foot to these, as well as all shops and eateries. The apartment was spacious, and perfect for two couples (additional bedrooms/bathroom off a separate corridor); modern and very comfortable in a house first built in 1600!

There’s nothing we “didn’t like”, as such. Balancing the essentials of utility and physical comfort (which our apartment definitely provided) with an optimal sense of ‘homeliness’ is hard. Perhaps some coloured bed linen (instead of plain white) could add some extra German “Gemütlichkeit”?

Furniture wasn’t in great condition, lots of spiders that looked like they had been there a while. Didn’t realize the ‚large apartment‘ was two separate spaces, but overall the rooms were large and comfortable.

The place was a great fit for our family. Friendly neighbors and wine tasting next door.

The place is perfect for a family! Very roomy for our family of 5 and so close to many things. We really enjoyed not having to drive anywhere. The shopkeeper was nice to get us a bike map.

We did ask for an early check in or at least to drop off our suitcases and put some things in the fridge while we toured around. It was rather early to, but I was hopeful. I couldn't get a hold of our host but he said I could pick up the keys from the shop below. She was opening and was accommodating to let us in. However, we got lectured a bit on a few things that I thought we were trying to be helpful on (picking up a tipped over flower and leaving the door open as to not intrude before we had permission), but instead got a talking to. We tried!

Spacious delightful apartment for family vacation

The apartment was spacious, comfortable, well stocked and ideally located. A great set up for a large family such as ours. Three bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen and living room were great for relaxing between adventures in the gorgeous surrounding area. The hosts were highly accommodating and everything we needed was provided thoughtfully. Bakeries, wineries, cafés and local shops are all just steps away, as is the Rhine River and Burg Stalech. We hope to come back and stay here again!

Pleasant

Excellent location in a very idylic town. Good quality furniture/utensils and spotless clean. Great for larger families/groups as a base for exploring the Rhein.

Two rooms are open area (no doors). No real outdoor area as the cafe is closed.

Very spacious for a family

This was a very spacious 3 bedroom apartment. We had four adults and the apartment worked perfectly. It was in a central location that was close to many restaurants. We could even see the castle from our bedroom windows.

I could not figure out how to turn on a couple eyes on the stove and the kitchen lighting was pretty dim.

Die Lage und die Kommunikation mit dem Anbieter war sehr gut.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super. Der Check-in verlief unkompliziert und einfach. Die Wohnung im Obergeschoss war sehr schön und geräumig. Die Küchenzeile war in Ordnung, allerdings fehlte ein richtig integrierter Backofen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Anbieter war ausgezeichnet

Leider war das Zimmer im Dachgeschoss, das man nur über eine recht steile Treppe erreicht, in den frostigen Tagen sehr kalt. Es gab dort weder Heizkörper noch einen Heizlüfter, was den Aufenthalt etwas unangenehm gemacht hat.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr geräumig und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet. Sie hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war ausgezeichnet.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Hatten das Frühstück selbst zubereitet. Die Lage war sehr schön, zentral im Ort. Die Aufteilung der Zimmer war für uns ideal. (wir waren 6)

In dem Schlafzimmer in der linken Wohnung hätten wir uns über einen Kleiderschrank, bzw. über eine Möglichkeit gefreut, unsere Kleidung auf Bügeln aufzuhängen. Sonst waren wir sehr zufrieden. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass bei mehr Personen (wir waren 6) der Platz im Kühlschrank etwas knapp wird.

Toll und jederzeit immer wieder gerne!

War dort mit meiner gesamten Familie in 3 Generationen. 13 Leute ! Es war urig einzigartig aufgeteilt, aber so konnten wir alle ein gutes Plätzchen finden und die Kinder konnten eine Ecke zum Spielen finden, wo sie den Erwachsenen aus dem Weg gehen konnten! Alles für ein harmonisches Wochenende ! Lage direkt in der Stadt und alles fussläufig ! Wir waren sehr begeistert! Danke für alles!

Die Gefahr war groß, dass wir die Mietern in dem anderen Apartment gestört hätten, da das Treppenhaus zwischen den beiden Parteien unseres Apartments dazu einlud die Tür offen zu lassen! Da diese aber auch ganz entspannt war, fällt mir einfach nichts negatives ein!
