We went to the premises and decided not for us drove in to another fantastic place for much less money

Nothing even parking was a problem

Bad view this was a persons house full of rubbish the room was awful and the bed clothes where grubby looking the other room was the same felt sorry for another family too

Superb host, bed was a bit hard, but if you are used to a futon then no problem. We loved our stay, and would strong,y recommend bathing shoes for the beaches.

Nice b&b in a great location and a very nice owner.

We had a great stay at Porta del Mare. The owner is very nice and he had recommendations for us about restaurants and how to travel to the city centre. The location is very nice and from our room we had a nice view of the ocean. The room was nice and clean. Genua is a very nice city to visit, we had a very nice time.

We booked at the last minute and we were impressed how casual and authentic the place was.

It is a huge old flat with all family stuff turned into a hotel with a panoramic view over the sea. We liked the host and the room, but the most we liked the spirit of the place: private pictures and paintings on the walls and talk to the owner about the history of the place.

Superb

The host, was superb the room was clean very comfortable with a lovely shower/toilet/bidet room. The wrap around balcony is a great feature with good views over the bay. Oh and do take the recommendation of the host to go to Santa Lucia pizzeria.fantastic,local and great price

The property is not advertised outside and even the taxi driver struggled to make sense. The property is part of a 5 floor old apartment building with a quaint lift. There is list of owners on a buzzer panel and they are there on the 5th floor

10 min haben gereicht um zu wissen, dass wir nicht dort schlafen werden.

Ausblick

Wir haben nicht übernachtet. Es hat so gestunken und war sehr schmutzig. Er hat gleich gesagt, dass es kein Frühstück gibt, was aber inklusiv gewesen wäre. Nicht empfehlenswert!!!

Cosi come abbiamo visto assolutamente da non andare le foto in Booking non corrispondo al vero

Solo vista mare sul porto tutto il resto assolutamente da non andare solo il bagno è stato ristrutturato...

Appartamente abbondonato non pulito e fatiscente. Nulla a che vedere con le foto che hanno inserito nell'annuncio. Pulizia assolutamente non presente. Muri scrostati e fili elettrici non in sicurezza. Balcone tenuto come un deposito di rottami e parte dell'appartamento non piu ulizzabili. Colazione compresa nel prezzo ma non abbiamo avuto il piacere di provarla. "Barattata" con le spese di soggiorno ma non abbiamo visto nessuno se non al telefono.

Nel complesso un ottimo soggiorno

Il terrazzino sul mare regala una colazione veramente speciale, mentre l'aria condizionata in camera ha aiutato a sopportare il forte caldo e insieme a un letto comodo mi ha fatto riposare bene. Anche il bagno è comodo nonostante le dimensioni contenute. La sua centralità permette di raggiungere anche a piedi tutti i principali servizi, inoltre la passeggiata lungomare parte praticamente ai piedi dell'edificio. La vicinanza alla strada invece può essere fastidiosa per le ore notturne, ma basta chiudere gli infissi e accendere il condizionatore e il riposo è assicurato.

La pulizia non è il suo fiore all'occhiello, pur trattandosi di semplice polvere. Ho dovuto sintonizzare la TV e non c'è un armadio vero e proprio, ma una nicchia con dei ripiani e uno spazio con appendiabiti. Personalmente non li trovo problemi per me, che ho fatto solo una notte e sono un tipo adattabile e senza troppe pretese, ma per qualcun altro potrebbe risultare fastidioso. Nel complesso un ottimo soggiorno. Non critiche, ma consigli a fin di bene... Grazie mille Porta del Mare, a presto!

Un soggiorno breve (ma pulp) come fosse un atto di un film di Tarantino

La vista. Cmq si tratta di un palazzo abbastanza bello, storico in stile genovese con un bell'ascensore in ferro battuto e scale-pavimenti in marmo, finiture in legno. La vista ovviamente è stupenda e da sola vale la metà del prezzo pagato. Ok per il condizionatore in stanza, il servizio wi-fi, la biancheria da bagno. Le finestre coi doppi vetri e gli infissi in generale, belli e ben insonorizzati.

Va bene, siamo in un contesto di B&B = situazione famigliare, solo che i proprietari non vivono li. La casa è un tuffo negli anni '70 sia per l'arredamento che per libri, riviste e complementi d'arredo. Personalmente l'ho trovato " desueto ", molto disordine un pò ovunque, molte pareti con tracce di umidità e scrostature di intonaco. Un odore di canfora nella nostra stanza che toglieva il fiato! C'era polvere nella stanza da letto e nella sala comune con anche avanzi di colazione (scatole aperte di cereali ) appoggiati su riviste. Nella parte cucina ( a vista ) piatti e tazze/tazzine della colazione. La sensazione di vetusto che c'è in generale nella casa. Il disordine, nella camera i mobiletti "rabberciati" con pezzi di tavolati di compensato/multistrato visibilmente caserecci e dipinti in modo approssimativo. La biancheria della camera da letto talmente vecchia e consumata da esser in parte scolorita e risultare " sciatta " anche se fosse stata perfettamente pulita. Il letto ed i cucini oggettivamente vecchi, ma vecchi vecchi... La mancanza di cura per i dettagli, se non si è amanti dello stile folk/Hippye anni '70 Onestamente non ce la siamo sentita di fermarci per la colazione, peraltro valutata da molti un plus nelle recensioni, abbiamo lasciato le chiavi sul tavolino e siamo usciti poco dopo le 6 del mattino successivo.

Ruhige Lage bei Zimmer gegen das Meer

Parkplatzsituation sehr schlecht, eng und überfüllt, eher alt wirkende Einrichtung mit abgenutztem Bettbezug (sauber aber nach vielem Gebrauch wirkt es verschlissen), Zimmerschloss funktioniert nicht, Eingangstürschloss schwer zu bedienen, Alles in allem eine Unterkunft, die Renovationsbedarf hat und viel zu teuer ist. Es kann ganz schwierig sein in der engen Seitenstrasse überhaupt einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Ein Betrug, Fotos haben mit realität nichts zu tun

überhaupt nichts, wir sind nach einer Stunde wieder abgereist

Eine absolute Katastrophe, wir reisten nach einer Stunde wieder ab. Versprochener Parkplatz gab es nicht, nur faule Ausreden. DeLuxe Zimmer war eine Absteige schlimmer als im Obdachlosenhaus. Matratze versifft Kissen versifft, Bett kann man nur von einer Seite her erreichen. Badezimmer verdreckt, Badeschlappen sahen aus wie aus dem Müll gefischt. Ein richtiges Dreckloch, keine 20 Euro pro Nacht wert. Es gibt keine Privatsphäre im Zimmer. Türe lässt sich mit etwas Druck aufdrücken. Entspricht überhaupt nicht den Fotos im Netz. Lasst die Finger davon. Der Typ reagierte auf Kritik aggressiv und unfreundlich. Wir erwarten unser Geld zurück, das war Betrug.
