A plain yet comfortable hotel for a short stay in an interesting city.

A short 10 minute walk from the railway station. The city centre was on the other side of the station and a further 10 minutes walk to get to. Lots of restaurant options in this city. It rained most of the time we were there and because we ducked into many doorways we discovered small bars, restaurants and shops which made our visit all the more interesting. Guide books do NOT do justice to this city. It is fascinating and I wish I had at least 2 or 3 more days to explore all that was on offer.

Not a hit! But cheap and close to the ferry terminal

We were looking for a hotel close to the ferry terminal with private parking and chose the cheapest option. Based on what we were looking for, we got what we needed. The parking lot was a bit away from the hotel, and a staff member showed us where it was. The first day, it was very tight and hard to get in. The second day, getting out was easier. There were free parking spots outside the hotel, but they might have looked full. I’m usually satisfied with hotel stays, even at budget places, but this one was not a hit. If you stay in a room with a bathroom on a lower floor, it might be better. Order a cappuccino at the bar (it's included in the breakfast, but honestly not worth paying for), and then head out for breakfast somewhere else!

Note: We missed the detail that we had booked a room with a shared bathroom. Three rooms shared two toilets. Even though both the room and the bathrooms had just been cleaned when we checked in, it still didn’t feel very fresh. There was only a fan and the option to open a window, so the night was warm and the beds were uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good at all, and the reception/breakfast area was shared with a restaurant that served lunch during the day. It didn’t feel fresh. We stayed on the 4th floor, but the elevator only went up one floor, after that, you had to take the stairs and go through several doors. There was a simpler way, though. When we got back late at night, the door code lock malfunctioned. No one had explained or shown how it worked, and there seemed to be a problem with it. After many attempts, we finally got in, but it was extremely frustrating.

Good value for money

The stuff very friendly.

The TV was really small and hard to watch from the bed. The air conditioner not very powerful. The hotel has quite old furniture and could use some improvements to give a fresh air.

Piacevolmente sorpresa e soddisfatta

Esperienza super positiva.l hotel è sicuro in ogni sua parte per la moltitudini di codici che devono essere utilizzati per aprire ogni varco. Ricca colazione sia con dolce che con salato. Grande tv in camera.ambjenti ben riscaldati.letti e cuscini memory molto comodi e forniti in abbondanza.coperte in più negli armadi.accoglienza gentile.

Unica nota negativa il personale che un quarto d ora prima dello scadere del check out bussa e ti avvisa che a breve dovrà essere lasciata la camera...personalmente l ho trovato inusuale.

Vollgekotztes Gemeinschaftsbad statt eigenem

Preis war eigentlich ok. Personal war ansatzweise bemüht.

Die Dame am Empfang sprach nur Italienisch. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad bestellt und bekam eins mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Das war am Morgen vollgekotzt und da ich auf Klo musste und kein Personal da war, musste ich erstmal putzen. Dann wurde mitten am Tag bei mir geklopft und ich sollte das Zimmer sofort wechseln. Dann bekam ich ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad. Keine Erklärung. Keine Entschuldigung. Im ersten Zimmer gab es noch ein gebrauchtes Handtuch und die Möbel fielen auseinander. Die Türen sind laut, die Wände dünn, die Scheiben sind auch dünn. Auch für den Preis erwarte ich eine gewisse Qualität und wenn es nur ne Entschuldigung fürs Chaos gewesen wäre.

Una notte a Genova 17-18 agosto 2025

Posizione ottima. Bagno in camera. Aria condizionata. Abbiamo trovato un parcheggio gratuito proprio davanti la struttura ma per puro caso.

Per andare in camera, posta al secondo piano, abbiamo preso l'ascensore che arriva solo al primo e poi con le valigie abbiamo dovuto fare le rampe di scale per giungere al secondo piano. Inoltre non esistono scale dal primo piano al piano terra se non quelle di emergenza esterne. La colazione, inclusa, era fino alle 9 ma noi che siamo arrivati alle 8.30 abbiamo trovato ben poco. Non è stata rifornita. Inoltre abbiamo notato mosche che giravano indisturbate tra i tavoli. Non abbiamo trovato i prodotti da bagno monouso ma i flaconi dosatori per il sapone e la doccia. Personale di poche parole.

Hotel trés correct qui propose un trés bon rapport qualité prix pour la saison estivale

Hôtel trés pratique car à proximité de la gare, chambre spacieuse et trés propre comme les deux salles de bain communes aux 5 chambres de l'étage. Un rapport qualité prix trés honnête.... le PDJ est simple mais il y a l'essentiel

Mobilier un peu juste, nous n'avions pas grand chose pour susprendre nos vêtements et nos serviettes de toilette mais c'est un détail...

Bardzo wcześnie rano windy nie działały, po schodach znosiłam walizkę i miałam kłopot z otwarciem drzwi by wyjść z hotelu. Na szczęście się udało, bo o 5:40 nie było nikogo kto mógłby pomóc.

Di tutto, struttura troppo vecchia e anche la camera. Il letto pessimo, non siamo riusciti a dormire, cuscino pure, come inesistente, bagno piccolo. Brutta atmosfera.

Одлична локација близу главне железничке станице, чиста смештајна јединица, пристојан доручак (разне врсте пецива, шунка, сир, џем, маслац, сок пахуљице). Из собе смо имали леп поглед на луку. Бесплатно смо оставили пртљаг на чување до поласка воза. Одлична вредност за новац.

За доручак је могло бити и млека или кафе и чаја. Апарат за воду је био празан. Мало је хаотично стићи до собе кроз лавиринт ходника и врата која се отварају шифрама. Ко не подноси буку мора рачунати на прилично бучну улицу.

Nulla. L'appartamento non è tenuto bene. Copri water staccato, serratura del bagno rotto. La finestra del soggiorno, dove c'è il divanoletto ha la tenda rotta che fa entrare la luce e quindi praticamente impossibile dormire. Colazione pessima. Il rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente non congruo.
