I found my home in Macedonia! Can't wait to come back!

It was perfect! Best location and best view of Ohrid! It is in the top of the hill, by the side of the fortress, so the view of the lake and the city is beyond amazing! And very calm, as people don't pass there. Still it's so close to the city center, in a few minutes of beautiful walk we're by the lake or in the main street, and closer there are options of cafés and restaurants. I wanted somewhere calm and beautiful to stay one week writing my book, and Ohrid and Sonja's place was the best option I could have found. I really felt at home and could rest, enjoy and write. The facilities of the room and kitchen are also great and I could prepare several meals as well. And Sonja was very kind too! I didn't know I should pay in cash and didn't have the amount the day I arrived, and it was not a problem for her that I'd pay the day after. Well, I just feel I found right away my home in Macedonia and I'm really looking forward to come back already! The last 2 days, even before I left I was already missing Ohrid and this wonderful place!

The only thing was that the blankets were maybe stored for a while that some of them gave me a bit of an allergy when I tried to use them, but nothing serious.

An appartment with an unpralleled view but we came out frozen.

The location of this appartment is easily the best out there. You have a nice view of lake Ohrid and the city. You are in the middle of the historic center.

We went in december and the heater was just inadequate. We had to sleep fully clothed which is unacceptable. The hiegene was lacking as the shower was moldy and the wifi didn't work. There wasn't any AC for summer guests to be aware of.

Great location, maybe needs slightly better maintenance

Amazing views from the patio. Hosts tried their best to help me with a problem getting into and out of old town in my rental car (there are gates for which you need a card).

The room was not super clean (visible cobwebs in a couple of different places, stains on top of the fridge, absolutely grimy shower curtain, etc.) The room designated, I believe, "studio" overlooks a sort of overgrown backyard.

Lovely family and amazing view. Great location, terrace is huge, host is very helpful. She helped us booking a cab for very early in the morning. House os close to beach and main sights in old town, steep hill climb is definitely worth for the view. You can get your tea and snacks, chill there in the evening.

We had a few minor issues: - couldn’t find hot water (we found it later by accident but we already took shower with cold water) would be nice if host showed us we need to open it - steep unpaved road, you need to pick up luggage and carry. We were okay with it because there is amazing view and it’s obvious you need to climb slope for that, but we were unlucky and it rained, our luggage got dirt all over and the ground got very slippery, muddy. It was so hard to get down and we had to catch the cab… you should really pave that road connection. - everywhere was clean when you look at it but bedsheets smelled dusty and sweaty (Maybe it was because humidity, I don’t know). We were not sure if they were clean so we used our own sheets, I carry at least one every vacation.

Not so easy to find and approach. Narrow, steep, partially unpaved street is price for the safe and free parking literally below the fortress walls ....and price for unforgettable view (day and night) of the Ohrid lake from spacious terrace of this facilities. Very friendly hosts. Easy check-in. Good value for money.

Great location for exploring Ohrid

Brilliant location, close to all the main sights in the old town and with amazing views over the bay and mountains from the terrace. The apartment was spacious and clean, and good value for money.

Numerous power outlets didn't work, including the one for the fridge, which I found out on my final morning!

La ubicación y las vistas

Falta de utensilios en cocina, pero muchos, falta de utensilios de higiene, teniendo k pedir cada día papel de wc. Camas pequeñas, no pudiendo estirarme ya que los pies me tocan en la madera de abajo. Limpieza justa, con arañas y telarañas. Proteína buena si tienes hambre. Que la dueña abre la puerta del apartamento antes de que la abra el que se hospeda... todo good👍🤣 El ruido del termo de agua cada 10 o 15 min (parece una ballena)
