Location next to the lake, one of the most beautiful apartments in this area we have ever stayed in (not in the old town but very close to walk to). Our apartment on 3-th floor, spacious, airy, 2 balconies on both sides of the apartment, especially the lake side is very spacious. Kitchen, toilet, beautiful living room furniture! Free private parking! Convenient for 2 adults and maybe 1 or 2 children. Reasonable price for what you get.

The building has no elevator so apartments on the 3rd floors may be difficult for older people. The bed is small, could be larger for two adults. The mattress is too soft so it feels like you are floating on a boat, when one person moves it affects the other.

Great vacation!

The accommodation is in a great location, close to everything you might need. The apartment is very clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The terrace is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view of the lake – perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!

Most comfortable and money worth staying place in Ohrid.

This property is so very central yet away from the noise. The most spectacular views, spacious and a host that is always ready to help. I can not believe we have found this gem. It will be the first place to check should I need accommodation in Ohrid again.

Unforgetable Experience!

We liked everything! The view is fascinating. Its worth everything. It is clean and spacious. It has everything you need for cooking on daily basis. The location is perfect. You can walk to Old Town, markets, restaurants, beaches and parks! You can also park your car just infront of the villa. The breakfast is downstairs in the restaurant where you choose from the menu. Everything was great! Thank you Darko! We will come again if we visit Ohrid again.

beautiful apartment on the water

We loved the view, the comfortable bedroom, and the huge space. Darko was very accomodating of our wedding and had no problem with the hair/makeup artists coming to the apartment as well as offering to help organise decorations of the apartment for the pre-wedding photos. There was more than enough space for everyone and the photos were beautiful!

although we couldn’t figure out the exact source of the leak, when showering, the entire bathroom floor would be wet.

Fabulous stay .The host met us and helped carry our luggage up the stairs, Apartment excellent with great view of. the lake , lovely balcony but a large terrace on top of apartments which are only 3 floors high and one apartment per floor Breakfast was include in the restaurant below , the name of that restaurant is The Lion , Meals outstanding , breakfast hot , cooked , We also had dinner there , excellent with many choices Booking out easy , just have to leave the keys downstairs in the restaurant,would highly recommend staying staying at Villa Darko at Lake Ohrid

Stunning Apartment Stay on Beautiful Lake Ohrid

Beautiful Apartment, Spacious, with a fabulous Large Balcony, with views of Ocrid Lake to swoon over. Darko was extremely kind and helpful and assisted us at check in and check out with our considerable luggage. The location is simply the best. The views are worth more than you can imagine. Large and spacious Living room with floor to ceiling glass windows. Absolutely stunning cinemascope views of Lake Ohrid. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank Youu so much, Darko. Cant wait to visit your beautiful apartment again.

Perfect place to stay in Ohrid

The accommodation was spotless and had everything you could need for a family staying for a week. Excellent communication from Darko who was very helpful throughout our stay. The view of the lake was amazing. This was our third visit to Ohrid and by far the best place we've stayed. Breakfast at the Lion downstairs was included and excellent. The price was also great value for money. Cannot recommend enough!

Very good choice in a reasonable price!

Very nice place with amazing view of the lake, from the living room! The lady that gave us access to the facility , met us at the restaurant just under the flat , she was very friendly and provided useful information. Place was clean and very spacious , in an excellent location just 7 minutes walk from the old town , walking next to the lake. Breakfast was served at the restaurant after 10 am (perfect time to get some rest) and was really nice like the stuff of the restaurant too! I totally recommend it!

I really enjoyed the stay in this appartment. It was clean, spacious and very well located - just in the front of the lake. The host was super helpful and polite. Breakfast available in the restaurant downstairs was extra paid, but this is actually very good option instead of cooking. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything what is neccessary for a one week stay. Good wi-fi. Great terrace on the roof. Highly recommended when visiting Ohrid!

Since there is no reception I recommend to inform the guest about the method of how to collect the keys. In my opinion the A/C was insufficient in the living room in relation to bedroom where it was perfect. A noise from the restaurant was a bit tiresome in late evening hours.

The breakfast was not 4 star level, the coffee was undrinkable, the food selection very small, mostly meat and dairy. Closed washing machine was stinking, it needs to be kept open after finishing laundry.. we had to perform an empty wash to remove stench. Door frame fell off, cigarette smoke. Power shut off for a moment. Patchy internet. cash only. Bathroom lighting ugly, only one mirror lamp worked, sink barely drained
