Looks nice but in reality needs a bit more effort into making it a nice stay

The property is new, it looks nice, the bathroom is nice, it’s a clean apartment, it’s close to the centre 1.1km according to my Apple Watch.

Shortly after arrival I noticed a few things that made this booking lack in many areas compared to every other property I have ever stayed at. The fridge was completely empty with not even a bottle of water or some small packets of long life milk for coffee. There was no tea provided. There was a coffee machine that uses pods but no pods were provided. The only coffee provided was a small amount of Turkish ground coffee. The coffee machine was full of used pods which I also needed to clean out. There was not even a toaster in the apartment. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper provided on the holder with no spares yet our stay was for 4 days. There was only 1 bath towel per person provided, no extras and no cleaning or fresh towels provided. The apartment is not very well soundproofed. You can hear the people above you and opposites you and everyone that walks in the stairwell as well as music from the restaurants down the street. The mattresses would have to be the hardest mattresses I have ever slept on. They have absolutely no softness to them at all. I would liken them to sleeping on a concrete floor. They provided an iron but no ironing board so a half thought out idea. I would have much preferred to trade the iron for a toaster. Overall the only thing that you couldn’t fix in a day is the sound proofing and I think if that was the only downfall of the apartment then it would be a very good place to stay. But as it was on our stay, I have to say it is way behind every other apartment we have ever stayed in.

New and clean apartments close to the lake and shops.

Breakfast was not included. The location was very good close to the lake.

I didn’t like that there was no dishwasher or washing machine. Being an apartment it should have these appliances. We stayed there for 5 days and had to wash our clothes by hand. Only got one towel each for the whole stay.

Modern apartment near the promenade

This is one of the few modern apartments in the area. It is beautifully designed and conveniently located just one block from the lake promenade, and about 10-15 mins walk from the boat tours and the Old town. We were pleasantly surprised by the fact it had Wi-fi and a parking spot in an adjacent street, since the listing said it didn’t.

The apartment is actually a studio and a 1 bedroom sharing the same hall and front door. While it was handy to discover there was an extra bathroom and kitchen, this difference in structure didn’t work for us as it meant that whoever was staying in the studio could basically not use the kitchen nor living room unless everyone else was awake. The kitchen equipment was strangely divided between the two kitchens so only one had a sponge, another had a pot etc. I’m sure though the latter issue will be solved by the hosts promptly as they were helpful with other issues.

Luxury Apartments Stefano was truly a hidden pearl in the heart of Ohrid. The apartment was spotless, modern, and beautifully designed — offering both comfort and style. Its location is perfect, just a short walk from the lake and the city center, which made exploring so easy and enjoyable. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for my stay in this luxury and with modern furniture spaces apartment.

I only wish I had more time to enjoy this amazing place! I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet central stay in Ohrid.

Vi havde den bedste ferie. Opholdsstedet var med til at fuldende den bedste ferieoplevelse !

Vi havde en lejlighed med 2 soveværelser, opholdsstue, køkken med stor spiseplads, 2 badeværelser. Altan med udsigt til sø. Det lå perfekt. Lige gåafstand til søen og centrum. Spritny lejlighed med masser af plads. Rent og pænt. Aircondition i alle værelser. Vi fik rene håndklæder og sengelinned efter behov. Rengøring 5**. Fint supermarked i nærheden (topmarket) - en lille kirke med rent og iskoldt rindende vand til opfyldning lige to minutters gåafstand. Sødeste værtinde, som var meget hjælpsom og nem at kommunikere med. Det er ikke sidste gang vi kommer. Kan varmt anbefales. Fuld valuta for pengene.
