Great location at the heart of old town Genoa, lovely host, super accommodating, nice breakfast. Host was kind enough to refund one breakfast as I had to leave early on check out day before breakfast was served.
It was super nice to have the mezzanine level which meant I had a bedroom and my own settee area. Charming set up.
The elevator door was not closed by previous user and therefore was unable to call it down. As I did not know this beforehand, I ended up walking four flights of stairs with my suitcase, drenched as a rat. There is no air conditioning so had to do with the fan, which I normally do not mind but with the heat these days, it wasn’t always enough.

The location is brilliant for exploring Genoa, the rooms were a really good size, shower was powerful, the host was really welcoming, and the breakfast was superb - the homemade cake each morning was a real treat!
Nothing we didn’t like about the property. It doesn’t have aircon but with the windows open and the fan on it was fine. The b&b is on the fifth floor and the rooms are in a side street so it was quiet in the evening even with the windows open.

Great central location. Very friendly communication and service before and during the stay. They couldn’t have done any more to make you feel welcome! Lovely old building. Fantastic breakfast. Very clean rooms.
Only negative - and this is not a complaint as my mistake for poor research - we were there in a heatwave and our bedroom fan struggled.
