Great stay in Rio. Nature around with a great view on Cristo!
Rubens and his staff was so welcoming! We really enjoyed it. The Hostel is a bit hidden. But its def worth it! Waking up with little apes and tucans around you! really recommended!

It is nature , the owner Reuven is a great guy , always helpfull and kind .. The breakfast was good . The location is in the center of nature in one side and very near the Corcovado cable car .. Definetely worth for penny
its a bit out of the main road , you shd walk 100 meters after you leave the car ,, but you get used to it after the first experience

Perfect for a scape
I visited Hostel do tucano while I was going to Rock in Río and he was really helpfull. He gave us breakfast everyday and was really kind. The location is perfect because is 5 minutes walking distance from the Corcovado train and 20 minutes from the Ipanema beach.

Perfect host, nice and quiet place
10min walk to the train station to go to the Christ statue. Nice and quiet place. Good budget place and a good breakfast. The host will do everything to make you enjoy your stay

A vista é bonita
Dono do hostel preparou misto de café de manhã incluso em sanduicheiras cheias de mofo dentro. Terceiro andar estava infestado de formigas e a geladeira deste estava desligada com carnes apodrecendo dentro. Sem contar que a "água sempre acabava", várias pessoas ficavam sem banho por causa disso, e não tinha água quente para o banho, o chuveiro estava queimado e o dono insistia que era por causa do disjuntor, ele arrumava e a água continuava gelada.
