Comfortable, and well positioned for a short break

Good location, 10 minute walk from the town centre and restaurants. Good secure parking in the grounds of the house. Spacious, clean bathroom.

Kitchen was lacking some items - no dinner mats or drinks mats, and no tea towel for drying plates/dishes etc. On arrival mugs and glasses had been put away in cupboards but were unclean and needed washing before we could use them.

Excellent stay in a perfect location

Chiara was an excellent host and we enjoyed our stay at Rio Molino. The on-site car parking was excellent. Located in q quiet area but only a short walk to Stresa's ristorante area and the beautiful lake at Stresa. Plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. There is an excellent Conad for excellent food and beverage items.

Basic apartment in good location, mattress not comfortable though.

The apartment is well located. There is a private parking next to the apartment, which is very convenient . Chiara is very helpful.

The mattress is not really comfortable and the kitchen equipment could be improved. unfortunately it was quite noisy (due to the street outside).

beautiful area, worth visiting and this accommodation is a good centrally situated base

large apartment, nice and airy even in the very warm weather, close to the railway station and a supermarket, there was private enclosed car parking, the host was very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her.

we did find that the street outside was quite noisy early in the morning, this wasn't helped by having the window open because we were there in such warm weather, the addition of a microwave would have been helpful,

Exceptional

I really liked the apartment - great location, very spacious apartment, has everything you need to live, nice interior. Very nice owner, always ready to help, nice contact. Near the railway station, from which you can go to the town nearby and even to other countries. The Streza is a magnificent in itself, and also a convenient location for milking trips around the lake. The lake has clean water, the beaches are also clean (but I recommend taking special shoes for swimming because of the rocky bottom). There is a supermarket with a good selection of delicious ready-made food within a 10-minute walk. The apartment has a kitchenette and it is very convenient. There are 2 coffee makers - I recommend buying coffee and enjoying it on the balcony. There is a self-service laundry within a 20-minute walk (very convenient when traveling). We are very grateful to Chiara - we felt very comfortable. We want to come back!!!

We really liked this apartment. Very spacious, nice terrace to sit out on and very helpful host. Kitchen and eating area separate which is good. Everything clean and comfy bed. Residential area so quiet and interesting to see where local people live.

Bit a of a drag up the hill with our luggage but easy to find and not a big problem.

Plenty of space for a family- more than enough for two. Pleasant balcony to sit out on.

Nowhere to put your spongebag contents in the bathroom. No sponge or brush for washing up. Bed very firm, curtains so flimsy it must be hard to get to sleep from May to August...

Comodo arredato in maniera funzionale con accessori più che sufficienti per un soggiorno di una settimana. La strada è senza traffico soprattutto di notte quindi non fastidiosa, se non per i lampioni che non permettono di oscurare completamente. Ben accolta la nostra cana e tolleranti sull'uso del giardino recintato con cancello ad uso comune.

Pas l'experience attendue

L'appartement a été loué pour deux adultes et un enfant. Le canapé-lit était cassé, nous avons donc dû sortir le matelas pour pouvoir l'utiliser. L'espace extérieur montré sur les photos n'était pas propre et donc inutilisable. Nous avons signalé le problème et il a fallu attendre deux jours pour que l'espace soit nettoyé (pour un séjour de trois nuits). Nous avons finalement trouvé l'appartement loin de la ville (en montée, sans bus, avec un jeune enfant et une grand-mère).

Appartement idéalement situé à Stresa

La gentillesse de Isabella, même si nous ne nous sommes pas rencontrés. Le lieu de l'appartement est idéal pour mélanger à la fois le calme et la proximité du lac et des commerces de Stresa. L'appartement lui même est bien pratique, avec un petit balcon permettant de prendre une petite pause à l'extérieur. Le lieu géographique, idéal pour se balader sur la rive ouest du lac Majeur, en étant central par rapport aux villages situés au Sud et au Nord de Stresa. Très bien aussi pour aller au lac d'Orta, très mignon, et monter au Mattarone afin de profiter d'un point de vue exceptionnel sur les Alpes, les lacs...

Très mauvais - à éviter

Accueil réalisé en 2 minutes. On ne nous a même pas expliqué les clefs, ni les poubelles. Le parking devait être sécurisé. Celui ci est toujours ouvert. Idem pour le commun du logement.

Menage mal fait (cheveux dans la douche, pieds noirs quand on marche) Équipements obsolètes (flexible de douche cassé, porte de douche a forcé, literie grincante, ventilateur bruyant et d'une aide minime, simple vitrage laissant passer la chaleur et le bruit) Logement non adapté à la location estivale, trop chaud. Nius n’avons pas pu dormir. Avec un bébé nous avons préféré écourter notre séjour (2nuits au lieu de 5). L’hote a proposé de ramener un autre ventilateur, qui aurait ete inutile, est seulement désolée et refuse tout geste financier : Dialogue impossible avec des réponses hors sujets et de mauvaise foi : "nous travaillons et vous êtes en vacances!" Pas du tout professionnel.

Séjour à Stresa

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'emplacement du logement près du centre ville, de la promenade le long du lac, de l'embarcadère pour les îles Borromées. Très proche de la gare ferroviaire également. L'appartement est bien équipé. Le lac majeur est une superbe destination de voyage. Tout est magnifique. Il y a nombre d'activités. Nous avons aussi apprécié le resto au bord du lac et la pasticceria Marcolini. Le lac d'Orta est à une trentaine de minutes. Nous avons été à Cannobio, compter environ 1h voire un peu plus en raison de la circulation et de la limitation de vitesse. La route est facile.

Нам было комфортно провести неделю в этом апартаменте. Изабелла была обаятельная и полезная, мы легко списывались через переводчик и месенджер. Расположение хорошее, около 15 минут до центра Стрезы и 5 - 7 минут до ближайшего ресторана с отличной кухней и обслуживанием. Очень понравилась парковка во дворе, без проблем и безопасно. В номере есть мини-кухня с холодильником, однокомфорочной плитой и микроволновкой. Из описания и фотографий это не очевидно. Обстановка и техника в апартаментах не новые и не люкс, но все работало. Есть вентилятор на потолке в спальне. Кровать, кстати, была очень удобная. Интернет работал, иногда не стабильно. Понравился балкон, он узкий, но вдвоем вполне комфортно было ужинать на воздухе. По соотношению цена - качество апартамент однозначно хороший.

Не сразу разобрались с системой сортировки мусора, пакетов не было. Иногда нестабильно текла вода, но это видимо проблема города. Не было чайника.

Von Isabella haben wir uns sehr gut versorgt gefühlt, die Ausstattung sollte man etwas auffrischen.

Die Übergabe/Abreise und Kommunikation allgemein mit Isabella war zu jeder Zeit hervorragend und sehr herzlich! Sie hat uns ebenfalls mit sehr vielen Informationen rund um unser Reiseziel geholfen und konnte uns für einen Abend bei einer Tischreservierung helfen. Die Lage war gut und das Zentrum so wie die Promenade von Stresa zu Fuß innerhalb von 15min.erreichbar, die erste Einkaufmöglichkeit schon in 8 Minuten. Mülltrennungstonnen sind auf dem Gelände vorhanden, auch der Parkplatz für das Auto ist hervorragend.

Die Bilder der Ausstattung sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß, da alles mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Küche ist so weit ausgestattet und funktional, allerdings sollten einige Küchenmesser mal ausgetauscht oder heraus genommen werden. Der Kühlschrank funktioniert, dieser ist aber auch mittlerweile von außen an den Ecken gut rostig, den Duschkopf sollte man erneuern. Oberflächlich war alles sauber. Ohne Klimaanlage muss man Nachts bei höheren Temperaturen mit offenen Fenster schlafen um für etwas Durchzug zu sorgen, dann ist es zeitweise recht Laut wenn Autos, Motorräder oder die Straßenreinigung/Müllabfuhr durchfahren.

Lage der Unterkunft ist in Ordnung. Große Terrasse und Wohngegend mit schönen Gärten. Supermarkt ca 400 m

Leider bräuchte die Wohnung einmal eine gründliche Renovierung. Fenster und Türen abgeschlagen. Duschkabine nicht mehr in Ordnung, Ablagen oder Haken fehlen. Reinigung ungenügend. Unter dem Bett Staub und Fussel, Geschirr und Töpfe nicht ordentlich gespült, die 2 vorhandenen Kochmesser defekt. Tassen abgeschlagen. Waschmaschine vorhanden, Trockenständer aber nicht. Liegestuhl ist da, aber nur einer.

- Warmwasser funktionierte nicht - Heizung funktionierte nicht - Schimmel an Wänden und im Bad - keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten bzw. Haken für Handtücher im Bad - Dünne Bettdecke war nicht der Jahreszeit angemessen, keine Zusatzdecken vorhanden - Das Appartment entspricht absolut nicht der Darstellung auf booking.com
