Nice quiet place with a great view.

The room was very clean, large, and well equipped, View from room and from terrace is outstanding (lake, mountains, town). Owners very friendly and helpful. Suggested tourist attractions, booked restaurants for us. Very quiet neighborhood.

Room may not be so great for very tall people as this is a loft where the ceiling becomes very low in places. Not very easy to reach, 1-lane road at the end, altough that seems to be the rule in that region. No meal plan, and cannot eat in room, but this was easily overcome by purchasing stuff for breakfast the night before, and having breakfast in the terrace garden (better view anyway!)

Our hosts were delightful - helpful and friendly, while respecting our privacy. The location and the view of Lago Maggiore is stupendous. The accommodation is quiet and tranquil. Alba sul Lago is not a great distance from the center of town and is a wonderful walk for those that are fit. Be aware that it is a very steep walk and not appropriate for those that are not fit.

As advertised, it is an attic apartment, so the ceiling slopes quite low in the corners (high possibility of bumping one's head) We were not bothered, but be aware of this fact. For those that are less fit, a car is essential for transport down to the city.

Great stay

I have very good memories of our stay in Stresa. Hosts are very nice people. Once when we walked to Stresa a car stopped for us and it turned out that it was Daniel and Mirella. Despite the fact that they drove in the opposite direction, they took us to the center, we got interesting information and tips about the area, also very interesting recommendations, for example it is definitely worth visiting the Sky Bar with great view of the Lago Maggiore, or book early in the Cardini restaurant as it is a great restaurant and it's hard to find a place. It is definitely worth visiting this place…. and this views from our room…. are to die for. I miss it!

A wonderful room with a gorgeous view

This apartment is located in a beautiful spot, overlooking Stresa, the islands and Lago Maggiore. The hosts are incredibly kind, open and welcoming and will do anything to ensure you are comfortable during your stay. The room is cozy and has everything you need. Their cat is a nice bonus as well. Overall, I couldn't have wished for anything more except to stay longer!

The drive up to the house would be challenging for inexperienced drivers (or someone with a long car, like us).

Definitely be coming back

Location was really wonderful. The views over Stresa and Lago Maggiore are breathtaking. We had such a nice and warm welcome in their home. Even although it was just for the night they really made us feel like coming home.

Nothing really. One thing to mention is that the road to the house is a bit tricky. So if you are coming by car you'll need a bit of driving experience. The only other thing is that we were sad we couldn't stay longer.

Lovely views from the hills of Stresa

- Adorable owners, we were late and couldn’t find any food, so they cooked up some delicious food for us. - fantastic views from the garden over the surroundings and the lake area - comfortable bed

- better not be afraid to drive narrow streets (this goes for the whole area) - hot tub (in the room) comes at an extra cost, which was not clear out of the Booking description.

A very special place, such a scenic position. Hosts were so generous and kind and did so much to help us on our travels. All the comforts one could hope for were available, and a delightful breakfast topped off a fabulous stay.

L'accueil est super, Mirella et Daniele sont super gentils. La vue est splendide. Regarder le lac sur la terrasse en buvant un verre. Petit moment de bonheur Les alentours sont top ( vue et paysage). Restaurant gastronomique dans le village extra ( rapport- qualité prix bon).

La vue est surtout magnifique

Vue exceptionnelle sur le lac depuis la terrasse. Bon accueil des propriétaires de bons conseils pour trouver un bon restaurant sur place accessible à pieds et où se garer gratuitement en ville

Un accès par une route très étroite et sinueuse. Difficile à trouver dans les hauteurs de Stresa. Établissement ne disposant que d’une seule chambre, photos flatteuses, plafonds beaucoup trop bas. Baignoire à remous en supplément (7€ pour 15 minutes). Impossible de prendre une douche autrement qu’à genoux ou assis. Grands gabarits abstenez-vous. Petit déjeuner, 5€ en supplément, très sobre.

Molto vicino al centro, raggiungibile volendo anche a piedi. Struttura come da foto, pulito, elegante ma allo stesso tempo casual che da un gran senso di accoglienza. I proprietari, Mirella e Daniele gentilissimi, disponibili e simpatici.

Bellissima esperienza, meglio di così non si può ...

La cosa che più ci ha immediatamente colpito, arrivando, è stata la gentilezza, spontanea e genuina, mai finta o forzata, di Daniele e Mirella. E stato come averli già conosciuti, ci siamo trovati (a pelle) subito benissimo. Accolti in famiglia. E, subito dopo, non ci si può non emozionare davanti ad un così bell'affaccio sul Lago Maggiore ... il loro giardino, la loro terrazza, la loro vetrata si specchia nel lago, sembra di averlo a due passi, quasi di toccarlo. Che dire della camera ... bellissima, grande, dotata di tutti i confort; anche da qui vista stupenda. Bagno con spettacolare vasca idromassaggio, letto comodissimo e degno dei piu lussuosi hotel di Stresa. Grazie ai proprietari sia per i preziosi consigli sia per aver reso il nostro week-end ancora più bello.

Tornare a casa, lasciare questo splendido posto e tornare alla quoditiana vita lavorativa. Ma torneremo qui, prima o poi ci torneremo ... :D
