Lovely old house in the middle of ancient village. Clean, hot, no a/c. Some rooms have WiFi.

Very central to town, but you can’t park there. Very interesting park in town with a permanent art installation.

What a lovely feeling to feel so genuinely welcome. Federica is fabulous. Location is great and quiet (except when the church bells are chiming) Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The garden is very nice. Booking description says no WIFI - however excellent WIFI is available in the reception.

We would have loved butter being included in breakfast.

We would gladly stay here if we were to return to Gubbio

We loved our stay at Residenzia di Via Piccardi mostly because of the hospitality that Frederica provided. She was genuinely warm and welcoming, which we found especially wonderful as we waited for our checked luggage to arrive. The bag got delayed because of a close connection flight in Istanbul and only arrived several days after we landed in Italy. Frederica received the bag and carried it up to our second floor, no mean feat considering that it weight more than 20 kilos. She also volunteered to carry our luggage down to the ground floor when we departed, and offer that we declined. The room itself was large and comfortable. The mattress was firm and comfortable, and the sound of the nearby bell that marked the hour added to the atmosphere. Note that the Residenzia DOES have WIFI contrary to what the booking.com website says. Breakfast is continental, and the coffee is wonderful because a person makes it not an automatic machine. We did get lost trying to find the Residenzia because our GPS got confused thanks to all the stone buildings in Gubbio. FYI the easiest way there is to go past the Loggio, and turn right at the first street (the Via Piccardi). The gate to the hotel is not on the Via Piccardi but on the second cross street. The hotel’s location is excellent, close to the Roman Theater and a short walk to the elevator that takes one up to the Grand Piazza.

Federica is already enough reason to stay

Great B&B with wonderful garden in the old center of Gubbio, close to everything. So many things can be said about this must-visit-B&B, but the heart and soul of this place is Federica. Such a wonderful, warm and friendly host and she makes a great breakfast! The restaurant next door (Duca something) is very nice btw!

Una piacevole sorpresa

Federica è una padrona di casa eccellente, ci ha fatti sentire a casa appena arrivati nella sua struttura, molto carina, tra l'altro, nel pieno centro storico di Gubbio. Camera ampia e pulita, un bel giardino e una buona colazione. Noi eravamo in moto e abbiamo parcheggiato direttamente nella struttra, nonostante lo ZTL, grazie a Federica che si è occupata di tutto. Direi tutto perfetto, e ancora tanti complimenti alla padrona di casa per la sua simpatia e professionalità. Ci torneremo di sicuro!!!

Un soggiorno che ti resta dentro.

Abbiamo viaggiato in tutto il mondo ma mai abbiamo trovato una persona così squisita ad accoglierci. Federica ama la sua città e la sua meravigliosa struttura che gestisce con immenso amore. Gubbio è una città magnifica e una struttura così centrale con parcheggi così comodi nelle vicinanze è un plus. Di fronte l'ottima Locanda del Duca dove abbiamo pranzato divinamente entrambi i giorni. A due passi dalla piazza principale. Vorrei scrivere tante cose ma posso solo dire "andateci". Gubbio non è solo "Don Matteo" è una città bellissima, genuina e di ottimo cibo, i suoi abitanti persone favolose. Non abbiamo dubbi il nostro riferimento ogni volta vorremo tornare, a presto. Grazie di tutto Federica.

Posizione bellissima

Sicuramente la prima nota positiva è l'accoglienza di Federica, veramente carina e alla mano. La posizione è ottima per visitare non solo Gubbio ma anche i borghi vicino in quanto si trova all' inizio del centro storico ed è quindi comoda sia per raggiungere la macchina nei parcheggi che si trovano facilmente nei paraggi che per passeggiare e perdersi a piedi tra i vari musei e chiese del paese. La camera è molto grande, il soffitto è in legno ed il palazzetto è tutto in pietra. La colazione viene servita all' interno o nel carinissimo giardino.

Forse avrei messo un piano di appoggio in più in bagno, soprattutto all' interno della doccia

Meglio di così non si può!

Centralissima, posteggio libero non a pagamento a 5 minuti a piedi. Federica è la persona più gentile e carina sulla faccia della terra, vi farà sentire a casa. Servizi spartani ma in camera c'è tutto l'occorrente per passare un piacevole soggiorno. Pulitissimo e prezzo ottimo. Consigliato.
