It's not that we didn't like them but low doorways & steep stairs took a little getting used to. (Added to the character of the place).

Location as expected remote but that's why we chose it
Stairs very dangerous spiral like going up lighthouse.The toilet is at top you have to open the door and walk down the stairs to open it and get in.on exiting you have to go down 3 steps to close it and then go onto the landing holding on to rails. Very dangerous. Bathroom with bath and shower downstairs no headroom to shower. Low beams hit my head several times.

It’s age and character, comfortable beds and furniture. Despite the heat outside, the house remained cool, such a wonderful asset! Also loved the underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom in the cool mornings!
It was tricky going to the upstairs toilet during the night, but we got used to it eventually. It took a while to get used to the singing pipes…not sure our dog did though.

Just so relaxing
Door got stuck and couldn't get in. After panicking for a while the lovely caretaker come and opened the door. So ended up laughing about it . Only worry was trying to call properly through booking.com but phone number was invalid . Luckily someone was home next-door.
