This property offers up the opportunity to ’Hideaway’ in rural Somerset with far reaching views over open countryside. An excellent base for an outdoor activity holiday.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair. Decking area with garden furniture and use of a barbecue lodge . Use of owner’s garden. One well behaved dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Peacefully set high up in rural Somerset close to Exmoor National Park and with far reaching views over open countryside, this holiday home attached to the owner’s farmhouse, provides a comfortable base for relaxation or touring. Excellent for walking and pony trekking as well as exploring Exmoor villages, Wimbleball Lake and west Somerset coast. Easily reached are Minehead, Dunster Castle (National Trust), Knightshayes Court (National Trust) and market town of Taunton. There is also a wooden barbecue lodge in the garden, which is available by arrangement. Nearest shops and post office are in the town of Wiveliscombe which is 4miles away . The nearest pub which also serves food and a Sunday carvery is 2 miles away. However there is quite of lot of choice for lovely eating establishments in the area including Wiveliscombe, Roadwater , Weddon Cross, Watchet to name a few .

We had a lovely time at the hideaway,cosy, amazing views from the window, walks from the door,lots to do near by if you like walking.Would definitely recommend.

The ‘almost’ perfect hideaway! Lovely cottage, friendly hosts. With better WiFi and being able to monitor our own heating, it would be perfect.

Hideaway Cottage is comfortable and quiet, with amazing views. It has all that is needed for a perfect getaway and Sheila is a perfect host.
