Lovely 3-week stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I somewhat felt like I had become part of their extended family. The facilities are charming, if a bit rustic/dated. If you want to be in the middle of the beach action, this is NOT the place to stay. It if you want a more authentic Mexican experience, with a Chedraui (chain grocery store) very close by, this is a great location. Beware of the gringo-pricing restaurant nearby though.
Bathroom could’ve used some updating.

Its a basic hotel, but it does it very well. Very clean - rooms are cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels. Solid breakfast (choice of two each day) and it's well located, especially for walking to the smaller bays. The coworking is great and the internet is solid. I would stay again.
Occasionally it ran out of water. This happened twice over a week. I think this may be more the area than the hotel itself. It is a bit noisy at night, but again I think that is just the area.

The hotel is located right in the center of Puerto Escondido, in a non-touristic area. Most travelers usually stay in La Punta, but for us this was not a problem, as we wanted to experience local life and culture. During our stay, we were the only tourists — most guests were local families, which created a very authentic atmosphere. The room was fairly clean, and the breakfast was a real highlight: very tasty, interesting, and different every day. We also appreciated that we could leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out.
On the downside, our room was located close to the reception and pool area, so it was often noisy from early morning until late at night. Another drawback was the towels — although they were changed daily, they had a noticeable damp smell. Additionally, no one at the hotel spoke or understood English, which made communication a bit challenging.

They serve a very good breakfast. The room was simple but comfortable enough. They have an amazing space on the last floor where you can work, with an amazing view.
Is not the most clean hotel I have been. I would not use the pool for example. People would use the pool even after the allowed hours and be very loud (after 22 pm). You could tell it is an old building because everything is pretty worn out. The area where it is located is not amazing, especially at night. 20/30 min walk to the beach.

Good central location close to the beaches, restaurants and supermarket. Delicious breakfasts.
The pool was cloudy and looking dirty. Could do with more regular cleaning. Street noise was loud at night but we stayed there in the weekend.

Daily housekeeping with fresh sheets, toilet paper, and toiletries. A delicious, different breakfast each day. The swimming pool was clean. Location is awesome right next to the supermarket and Munchies. ADO terminal and beach are a couple minutes walk away. TV in room. Shelf space to unpack your things. Comfy beds.
The double budget room should be switched into a room with AC. The window is almost completely blocked and therefore is unable to receive any type of airflow. The ceiling fan is really old and has no power to it. I was sweating as soon as I came out of the shower.
Or at least provide a standing oscillating fan to make it more bearable.
But my recommendation is to switch this room into an AC room because of the window situation and then make one of the current AC rooms into a budget room with a fan as long as the windows can be opened and unblocked.

Breakfast was good. The location was quite close to the bus station. The tour company was familiar with the hotel, and sent a van to pick me up for dolphin / turtle / whale watching, which was great.
I rented a bicycle from a place in the town, but it was not suitable for cycling very far. Braking was by back-pedalling, one gear. A mountain bike would have been a lot better. Not the hotel's fault.

Came here for the second time because everything is just perfect - nice staff, clean rooms with A/C and reasonable prices and of course the super delicious breakfast!
A/C is pretty loud, the room we had this time was pretty small.

We loved our stay here - there was absolutely nothing to want. The beds are comfortable, the rooms have great air-con, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was SOOOO delicious (there was even a vege option).
Didn't you read my previous comment? There was nothing we could find fault with during our stay here.

Location to the bus station. A short walk for places to eat.
Room was a little small. Looked at a brick wall but over the courtyard so received a little noise from the pool

The beds were comfortable and the pools refreshing. Walking distance to playa principal, but walking back is uphill so need a pool swim when you get there. We took taxis to Carrizalillo (50 pesos), Zicatelo (80) and La Punta (100). We walked to Manzanillio Beach from the hotel.
We had an earthquake during our stay. The staff reassured us all was OK.

Super friendly staff. Great location. Right across from a cantina, next to a taqueria and a huge supermarket. All in all, excellent value for money.

Good value stay in Puerto Escondido. We had a room next to the pool with no view, which was okay and quiet enough.

It's a good place to stay... Good location, nice pool, room with the kitchen was ok it has AC.
I had to ask for the AC remote and they play dumb asking if my room had one, they gave me one but without batteries. So I just used the ones from the TV remote.
Place is good but those cheap tricks are annoying. you pay extra for it and you kind of have to beg to get it.

Nice, clean facility with lovely pools. Room was large and comfy. Shower had hot water with great water pressure. A/C was a blessing in this heat. Wifi works fantastic.
It said “ocean view,” but you only really get a peek of it. Bathroom could use a little love, but it was clean enough.

The hotel is beautiful and lovingly designed.
the hotel is very noisy. At night (11pm - 4am) loud parties are celebrated in large groups. the staff didn't care.

Great value for money if the location works for you. Buses to chacahua leave only a few minutes wall away. Next to a big supermarket.

The hotel was right next to a department store and within walking distance to taquerias and a smoothie place with great drinks and food. It was also only about a 20 minute walk to Playa Carrizalillo and Puerto Angelito. Less than a fifteen minute walk to Playa Principal and only a 80 pesos ride to La Punta.
Didn't have a problem with anything.
