Location was great. Landlord was super-friendly

Open bedroom. Not isolated. Sofa bed was not very comfortable

Location was stone throw away from the Maria Cathedral, meaning we got to see it throughout the day up close. There was a lift, air con, microwave, pots pans that were handy to have to make a quick breakfast in the morning. It was next to tons of restaurants, Gelato parlours, coffee and bakery cafes, historical places. Waking up in the morning, opening the window doors, hearing the bustling city whilst overlooking the terracotta roofs was such a good experince.

At times there was no water pressure in the apartment, and the water would just stop flowing, it would last briefly but made one cautious of showering, not sure if this was us being unlucky or it's a frequent occurrence, however this barely happend so it was overall not a deal breaker.

Very well situated. It is in the center of Florence. The building is very old. 4th floor, but there is an elevator. The furniture is old, chairs are old, table is old, etc. except the main bed, air conditioning, and windows which are noise cancelled (thank goodness, there is a lot of noise in the streets). All the building is apartments.. Alberto is nice, but when you book you don’t know that he will try to charge you 40 euros if you get to the apartment after 20:00. Besides that, he will charge you 6 euros per person, and per day supposedly to pay for a tax to the Council, no receipt obtained on his part.

Time of departure is 10:00 am, which is very early from my point of view.
