There was a skylight above the bed in the loft, which had no blind. The sun shines onto the bed. The 2nd skylight further away does have a blind, I imagine the other one has broken and not been replaced.

The first few days of our stay was promising but that was short lived.

The apartment is spacious and centrally located. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and malls. Very safe area and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast vouchers at Coffee Cartel was very much appreciated.

The bathroom needs urgent attention. Cockroaches were visible in the shower and hid under the shower tiles. Apartment was covered with small cockroaches, on day 2 of our 4 day stay. I brought it under the attention of the housekeeping staff but I guess they don’t view this as a serious issue. They left a bottle of Doom after I requested that they clean the apartment thoroughly. Apartment was spotless, although, that very same night and the next morning small cockroaches were visible again. We couldn’t wait to leave the apartment.

Enjoyable!

We appreciated the security...we really felt safe during our stay. The apartments we kept clean (cleaners came in daily). The small daily things that normally get overlooked, were provided in the rooms e.g. tea bags, ironing board etc. This was also very much appreciated. The decor is stylish! Overall we were very impressed and we will definitely be back again.

Very convenient,close to all amenities.The unit is nice of it was clean.

The place was dirty,full of hair strings. Welcomed by cockroaches. Can't even walk barefoot inside. The rug in the lounge oh my word it even stinks. House keeping was done after 3pm.

the security at the gate were often not in the security office. when I arrived no-one was there and I was unsure of where to park my car to access the security office. when I left to check out it was the same story, no-one in the security office.

The door that works with a pass on the 3rd floor was difficult to open. The bus we were traveling with could not get into the parking allocated for guests as it did not fit and we had to leave our trailer in another parking spot.

Family getaway in Durbanville

The house keeping was great especially when coming from a long day of activities. The fact that a supermarket (checkers) is right down the road was very convenient. The wine estates close by was excellent, we chose the klein roosboom.

General maintenance of the facilities was lacking abit, the bottom of the stove cupboard was chipped. The balcony area was not safe for my toddler as there was an opening to the roof(maybe add a gate there or rail). The fact that there r no braai facilities was lacking, even a small portable braai could do.

It was hard to locate the security guard for check in so we found ourselves standing outside for 15 minutes trying to find him before calling the staff and the security door on the 3rd floor didn’t work properly so it was wedged open through the night.

Always enjoy my stay at Heritage Square which is why I keep returning. The rooms are spacious, modernly designed and has everything you need for a truly comfortable stay. It is secure, close to many shops, restaurants and nicely located.

Excellent stay !

The property was safe, spacious and beautiful modern finishings. They were kind enough to offer me complimentary breakfast. I also forgot my hair iron at the property and returned to Dbn without it. They kept it safe & sound until I arranged for it to be couriered back home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The 3 bedroomed apartment was so clean. Housekeeping was friendly I would recommend Heritage Square to anyone.

We struggled a bit with the doors opening to the lifts, but I guess that is part of the building's issues

Nothing as they didn’t book us in the unit we paid for

Everything as the moved us from a family unit to a bachelor unit. We a family of 5 with young kids. I was supposed to have a bath and ended up with only a shower. The unit was not safe for my 4 year old so our experience was not good at all.

Awful accommodation, will never stay here again.

The location and easy check-in.

It was very musty, damp and dirty. The shower was covered in mold. There was dirty underwear from a previous guest on the floor in the bedroom. Pieces of food under the bedside table. Everything was very dusty. Bathroom door handle was broken, so could not close bathroom door. No extra blankets on beds. Duvets are paper thin and smells musty so we were very cold and did not sleep.

Disappointing

Beautiful apartment and great housekeeping staff.

Don’t stay here over the weekend if you want any sort of sleep. So much noise from the bars/clubs below. Our first Sat night the apartment next door partied till 7am we got no sleep whatsoever and security did nothing. Checked out 7 days early of our 15 night stay as we couldn’t do another weekend with such noise. Management refused any sort of compensation not even a reduced rate for the 7 nights we did not stay. Just any gesture of goodwill from the management would have been good. Been a genius member with booking.com since 2018 and this is my first negative review. Very disappointing.

Amazing unit

The unit was perfect, exceeded my expectation. It's gorgeous, comfortable, attention to detail and small details to me are everything. We arrived at night and it was chilly and the unit was already warm, that was ✔️ number 1 immediately.

I only didn't like the fact that I had only 1 night to stay there.

Located opposite a noisy nightclub which played music till late. 5 x single beds No coffee machine which is standard nowadays in accomodation Fridge was leaking water and we had to clean the kitchen floor a couple of times
