My stay was magnificent.

I loved how helpful the staff were and the way my room was clean. I really got great rest with zero disturbance.

I didn’t do much around the place , so there is nothing I can complain about.

Location was convenient for our daily activities and well secured for parking.

Room is deteriorating and poor maintained , poor lighting, poor shower with cold water for consecutive three days of stay. WiFi slow. Bed are not comfortable, moth on ceiling and in the shower.

The bedding was dirty and i showed the lady, we got cold water to shower, cockroaches and going to our room we must pass the kitchen it was dirty and not smelling nice, the bed it was as if you sleeping on the stone. I had to check out the following day and look for another room . I called the lady to let her know i won`t be coming back she didn`t bother answering she just opened the gate for us, later during the day she sends me a message asking if are we coming for another night and my answer was no and gave her my reasons as well. The biggest mistake i did was not checking the reviews before paying.

Dis not stay there at all

We did not even stay there we left right after viewing the property which was already the wrong address on the website. The Pool was very dirty half drained with algy in the water. The house was a complete disappointment with the staff not really interested in helping. They scamming clients and this needs to be made aware off on the website I did not get my money back and I didn't stay there i had to pay more money to go somewhere safe with my family. Absolutely a scam on bookings.com

-The place never changed beddings, ours in the room had blood stains - The room had a broken shower and toilet -No towels and toilet paper was provided - No access to TV -The pool had clothes hanging over and the water was green -The yard and house was never cleaned -we asked for a refund and was refused by the owner -It was nothing like the ad on booking.com - Living conditions will give you a sickness or even a disease -We only slept there and had to leave early morning -no cutlery or any assistance -It was the worst experience and absolutely pathetic living conditions - i would never reccommend this place to anyone. - We was threaten by owner if we called the police

Nothing and as I wrote the email to you guys, the experience that I had was traumatic to the entire family, mr Lorence was very rude and very disrespectful. He forced us to sleep in one of the houses in the street for two nights 73 not number 50 Canterbury as booked. I had to call the police but unfortunately he didn’t want to give us money so that we can check other venues. I regret I even booked this place, I will never in my life. I feel like I waisted our 6 nights paying this venue.

The location was close to the airport.

The place was not clean. There was an unpleasant smell, we barely slept the beds were not comfortable. Room 17 the shower had a broken faucet. They wash their sheets and clothes in the pool. The place needs a lot of work. But I beleive they will turn a corner.

The service was very poor. The rooms ddnt have towels and soap. TV’s ddnt have remotes we had to borrow the remote from the receptionist. All the rooms must borrow that one remote. The beds are falling apart and some of the rooms don’t have lights. Stove only one plate is working. The pool is dirty. Going out is a hustle as we nee the reception lady to open the gate with remote. Sometimes she sleeping and doesn’t assist with what we need.

Everything, the place was not like the pictures showed,the jacuzzi was filled with sand and covered with a cloth ,the TV's doesn't have any remotes,the side lights from the bed didn't work , yesterday when we arrived the kitchen was dirty and some other guests that we met they had to clean the dishes ,the woman who does the washing was sleeping whole day no one made sure that we were comfortable or needed anything,the landlord wasn't there nothing,I'm really upset because the service was kak ,she told us that we needed to be inside at 8 and couldn't play loud music because the houses next door would complain ,the pool was super dirty and had hair in it ,theres bedbugs aswell as me and my partner was itching whole night and kept feeling stuff crawl on us ,you can't have visitors nothing ,and also the day when we arrived was the day that woman named Abigail washed the beddings and towels which the towels was super wet to use ,it's just kak and trust me you wouldn't want to stay there especially when you can't refund your money ,and also it's one big house you share a kitchen with everyone including a fridge,there isn't any oven nor does the stoves work ,all the rooms are next to each other ,rooms are super small and I'm speaking of for two people

The beds of the other rooms are broken falling in the swimming pool wasn't clean when we came there wasn't any plates and stuff like that in our rooms we must ask the whole time .where things is the water is cold their must know in the morning the people want to bath so why is the still of by 11 in the morning .their must really uplift their standards as I can see before it was n nice place that low it standard people are paying money came from far so please. We ride to Cape town as the address in the map gives us and then return to belville if people book and already pay their money please sent a location pin that was really unbearable.the fuel are very expensive,I wasn't happy at all because at that time you would think it's n scam so please put on the address belville not cape town .the lady tells us the remote is broken but she was the last one on the remote and say maybe the kids broke it ,after the remotes was change in the back so if it wasn't people that is awake the lady would charge them money .the only weekend I was Disappointed in a place .

Awful Did not even booked in!!!

Please do not be caught in the same situation as us. We booked based on the picture provided. Specifically a bath requested. And when we arrived???? Boom disappointed not even how it’s presented on the advertisement. There is no bath, no aircon, no toiletries not even toilet paper. It’s a one space build on room, with a small toilet and shower there is not even Cornish at the roof. No barbeque this is just a guy that build some not up to standard small add on buildings on his property trying to make a quick money. Please don’t fall in this trap. We requested our refund since the property is REALLY not as advertised even the entrance is a safety hazard. But at first he refused to refund our monies paid. Guys be carefull for this one

The location of the place showed in cape town but it was whole time in Belleville, making me waste unnecessary money I gave out more money than expected, one of the lamps by the bed did not work , the TV did not work , there was no warm water , no towels or soap , they fool you with pictures looking breathtaking but the quality of the place is bad I'll never go back.

Liked the pool for the kids but not as in pics, only the bottle pool was operational and no lights at night It's was well cleaned to the naked eye but bed had some hair in it that's wasn't mine

One bed was so broken the kids basically lay ontop of each other There was a broken bunk bed standing up against the wall with nails sticking out of it - I have small kids you can just imagine There is not remote for the TV as they don't provide one, you have to connect to YouTube via your phone but wifi is so bad you can't watch anything Bedside lights against the wall are just hanging by their wires There is no cutlery or crockery yet you have a self catering kitchen in the room You do not get a gate remote on check-in but have to WhatsApp the host each time you want to come I or out There are no towels or toiletries provided Then the host arrives at 9:30pm the night and demands I pay him for the night into his bank account as I had canceled the booking, which I did not do, I requested a free cancelation a few days prior also contacted the property directly but got no reply as I would be charged the full amount if I canceled so just left it, the host then processed the cancelation hours later after we had been in the room for hours then made out as if was trying to do something and was rude and demanded constantly that I pay an immediate payment right now which I did as I could see the app had a cancelation on, for this reason I can't even get my money back for this absolutely horrible experience, my first of Capetown!!! Would NOT recommend to family or friends!!!

Bad place Sunrise lodge

I can't think of anything positive to say about our stay.

There were no glasses available for us. We only received one towel, and we were told the other guests are using the rest of the towels. The pictures that were advertised were not what the place was supposed to look like. Sunrise lodge was a big disappointment.

Couldn't get through on the number so they can open the gate when we arrived. Waited for about 15 minutes until they opened after numerous phone calls that were getting rejecting by, who I assume, was the owner. There were no towels in the room, bed was not comfortable and the noise from the people in the other rooms in the morning was unbearable. They woke everybody up by chatting loudly in the passage and nothing was done about it. Lucky that we just wanted an overnight place but I won't be booking there again. Not even an apology from the owner in the morning for dropping my calls at night or at least returning my calls or messages in the morning.

Everything, the place was horrible, the pictures displayed the sight was very misleading, there was a broken window, a big rat was found. The back area was dirty as well as the pool, the TV did not work the fridge was dirty on the inside and halfway broken there was dishes and old food in the fridge. Inside the cupboards it was dirty as well. I really need to be compensated as well the person living in the house(staff) was not helpful at all, the blankets were stinking as well. There was no toilet paper. The stove did not work

The bed was comfortable, and the property was situated centrally.

There were no amenities in my room at all. There was no remote for the TV and thus could not use smart TV at all. The toilet in my bathroom was running all the time, not flushing. No kettle or coffee station in my room. No crockery/cutlery available to consume meals. No remote provided to enter in and out by gate. Had to call the lady every time and she was not always available. The owner was not pleasant at all. He just cares about $$$ and no consideration in the wellbeing of his clients.No fridge in my room, despite 2 days of promises, my food got spoilt and my drinks were hot. A very very unpleasant experience to say the least. All you hear at this place is "you pay 1st then we can talk..." Won't see me again.

Nothing at all.. This was one of the worst places ever I would never recommend this to anyone. They literally just gave us 1 towel for the entire weekend and we asked constantly for them to bring is towels I feel like that is very unprofessional and it's disgusting!! The kitchen was whole weekend dirty they don't clean at all. I felt miserable being there. The tv don't work they wifi don't work they have no remotes no toilet paper no soap no nothing!!!! If you wanna book you a weekend away please stay away from this place cause you won't like it at all!

It was dirty, noisy and absolutely shocking. Stay away!! That pool is not clean... There are hardly any working lights, dishes or fans... The bedding is stained and torn. They don't give u the room you have booked.. Then still ask you for more money. There's no wifi. It's a disgusting place... It should be taken off booking. Com. Our car was vandalized twice and the sliding door had a massive crack that eventually shattered... And we could not get in or out.

The place is not the same as the one on booking.com. I complained at booking.com but they didn’t help. I even have photos of that dirty place with cockroaches. I only slept 1 nights and left. The place smells very bad and the swimming pool has moles. I can never use booking.com ever again because they also failed me.
