Disappointing as the only reason we booked , the parking, was not available

Location was good

Booked this hotel because it had parking. On arrival reception was closed as it is not open on the weekends. There was therefore no way of getting any information about the parking. The parking area by the hotel, which we assumed was the hotel parking, had metal bollards so could not be accessed. We therefore had to drive around to find somewhere else which was not the idea and meant we had to leave a fully loaded car in a random parking area. We tried to call the contact number on a few occasions but just got a recorded message and it cut off. Also sent a message but still no reply next day!! I’m not sure what would happen if there was any emergency at the property over the weekend

We had two rooms, one of which smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. It was never aired out properly and smelled pretty bad our entire stay.

ok stay in a somewhat worndown building

appartment was roomy, small kitchen a desk and a big bathroo

- carpet in hall was worn down (bald spots) - breakfast had no cheeses , eggs, cereal or milk (only nutella, honey and jam), food (bread and sweetbread) was preselected and handed to you on a plate on arrival in the restaurant (smallish room). - no curtains in windows only vitrage - some damaged spots in bathroom (no big ones)

A good option for short stay in Troyes

The location close to the city centre was fabulous. Free parking & wifi. The kitchenette was really useful. There is a supermarket just around the corner for any food stuffs. We had a superior flat and this was great for the extra space so would recommend getting the upgrade.

Some guests but mainly staff had their smoking breaks outside the front door and as our room was above this, the smoke smell came into our room every time. Perhaps the staff should be encouraged to smoke elsewhere. The corridors were very tatty and could do with an urgent redecoration and recarpeting - but the flat itself was in good order and comfortable.

Not perfect but good enough, would consider staying again

We needed an apartment hotel with central location and parking. Though there were many things that weren't perfect, it was all-in-all a good stay and good value-for-money. The location is very good, parking resonably priced and good, there's a supermarket nearby for food shopping, the room & bathroom is spacious, the kitchenette was fairly well equipped, there are recycling bins outside at the parking, etc.

People smoked directly outside the entrance, and that smoke also traveled in through our window above. The breakfast was not good, very little to choose from (and is not offered on weekends). The doors to our room and bathroom were a bit maladjusted so they scraped and got stuck against the floor when opening them. Many things in the kitchenette were of uneven numbers. We had to ask for more toiletpaper several times, only getting one roll each time (stayed a full week), and that was only possible the few hours the reception was open.

Frustrated by the entry system

This is a good budget option in Troyes and easily walkable to the centre for restaurants and visits. There is off street parking outside and plenty of on street parking in front of the building. The rooms are small but clean. Reception staff are very friendly (when they are there). We didn't stay for breakfast.

The day we arrived the reception had decided to close early and even though we arrived during the published reception opening time there was no way for us to get in the building, let alone get our room key. Normally you get a text message with codes if you arrive out of hours but I didn't get a text. We were pretty fed up and very tired after a long drive from the UK. Fortunately I can speak French and another traveller who was in the same predicament managed to track down someone after several phone calls. She got a code to open the safe with everyone's room keys inside, including ours. Finally in our room it was unbearably, stiflingly hot and with nobody on reception we couldn't ask for a cooler room or request a fan. There is no aircon. We had an uncomfortable night. I talked to the man on reception the next morning who was very polite and efficient. He said a text had been sent to my number. I think the problem was my UK phone number. I received the text 3 weeks later! So be warned. If you don't have a French SIM card, make sure you can receive text messages. And to the hotel - it would be a good idea to send both a text AND and email, as I had no problem with data roaming and wifi and would have been able to pick up an email.

Perfect for a calm stay without the noise of center

The room was super clean. I had to work during my stay and the desk/wifi were very functionnal. There was enough space (wardrobe, hangers, chair) to use and a kitchen with the basic equipment. There is also a laundry room to use, if needed. The room is available for long stays in a normal price. During breakfast time, you need to make a reservation. If no, at least, they can provide a coffee under a small amount of money.

The location was a bit far from center and the train station (15-20min walk). No place nearby to buy main groceries (ex water) and the closest shop was a MacDonalds 10min walk. The heating system in the bathroom was perfect, but in the room, it took me a while to figure it out. It would be good to have some instructions with check-in. The reception is open only a few hrs during the day and nothing in weekends. +They had to close exceptionnaly one working evening, I sent them an email with some request but noone replied to me.

I realise the price for the room was very low (52 eur for one person) so it is logical the room was not very high end. However the lack of airco prevented me to sleep well, as it was very hot in the room. For the rest, the room was a bit scruffy, but for that price, that was a bit to be expected.

Température de la chambre (voyage en hiver il faisait froid en arrivant), absence de produit pour se laver dans la douche, matelas déformé : un côté très clairement plus enfoncé que l'autre.

4 chambres louées : des punaises de lit dans une chambre, pas de chauffage alors qu'il fait -4, une fenetre ouverte dans la chambre en pleine nuit de gelée le jour de Noël, pas de petit déjeuner le 26.12 sans prévenir, des couettes de 5 mm d'épaisseur. Nous avons fait réclamation et attendons la réponse. Nous avons du passer toutes nos affaires au streamer en rentrant. Séjour épuisant cauchemardesque.
