Perfect stop over for a snap shot of Troyes

Easy to find, very welcoming, very clean and tidy, good parking on site (if reserved at hotel prior) overnight stay very quiet but not sure if the hotel was full at that time. Breakfast was continental, very neatly laid out, fresh and delicious.

Good hotel, but parking must be pre booked

Centrally located hotel with parking and easy walking distance to centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a reasonable size with comfortable beds. En suite was small but functional. Breakfast was OK.

Although I had pre-booked parking, and luckily had the confirmation to prove it, the hotel staff initially told us that parking was full and we would have to use public parking (not good with motorcycles). I had to be quite insistent, and finally, a small parking space was found that we could squeeze into. Staff then asked us to move again due to the inability of another guest to drive properly. This was eventually resolved by refusing to move and guiding the other guest into a parking space. Not what we needed after a long day travelling.

Very good location but finally expensive for the service it provides

Charged extra significantly for late check in at exactly 9pm which is normally the max deadline. Poor wifi that does not function with VPN. No stairs but that is normal for city center building

Great for a short stay

Location was fantastic - no real complaints as this was a one night stopover and suited our needs perfectly. Very close to loads of restaurants and bars.

Really could have used a lift as carrying cases upstairs was difficult.

Disappointing

The location, the reserved parking place, which is at extra cost

We were given a room with disabled facilities, neither of us is disabled. Only a plastic curtain between the shower room and the bedroom, no toilet privacy. Wet room style, the floor quickly flooded. Several of the curtain rings were broken, more broke during our stay, the curtain was nearly falling down Poor lighting for shaving, no shelf space for toiletries. A basic sized double bed. The breakfast room was stuffy and hot, we did not take breakfast there.

We always stay at hotel du cirque each year on our way south to visit our son. It has safe parking. Small but comfortable room. Good bed and linen. Great shower. It was refurbished a few years ago and is now even better also we always liked it.

Perfect room for a stop over on our trip through France. Comfortable double bed, nice shower. Very friendly staff.

Very thin walls and very loud old wooden stairs unfortunately, could hear every person walking on the stairs. Nevertheless room is perfect for one night on a drive by :)

Great location, good hotel with parking

The hotel was easy to find (arrived by car). I had booked parking beforehand (9 euros). The people on reception were very friendly. We had a family room which were two adjoining rooms with a bathroom - very useful instead of having to book two separate rooms. The hotel is very central - it only took about 5 mins to walk to the centre where there are lots of restaurants.

Great hotel for en route stay with secure parking

Great location, clean, decent (standard French) continental breakfast (extra payment), secure biking for car or Motorbike, short walk (5 min) from historic centre, clean room. I was alone in a double bed so spacious. Otherwise as it’s standard double it would be for a couple. But Twin room (2 singles available)

Insist on a room NOT on the ground floor as you're, basically, sleeping in the car park!

Good location, 100 metres outside the historic centre on a quiet street with secure parking. Nice breakfast and very helpful and friendly receptionist.

The wifi code given in the room information/factsheet was completely wrong and out of date. We planned to watch a film after dinner, but as Reception closed at 9pm, there was no-one to ask about the wifi, so we couldn't do anything. The Bathroom door didn't close properly - it was a wooden sliding door that was off the runner. The room (Room One) was on the ground floor with the windows looking directly on to a parking space, so the owners car was 50 cm from our window! So, we wouldn't open the window. There was only black out curtains (no net/voile) so we spent the whole time with the curtains shut and the light on. Next morning, 10 guests on Harley Davidson motorbikes spent 20 minutes revving their bikes, directly outside our window, they were so close, we couldn't hear ourselves speak - even with the window closed. Receptionist was clearly overworked and the facility understaffed. Management problems, not blaming the staff in any way. The breakfast room was too small for the number of guests, so we had to have our breakfast in the "smoking area of the car park" - Not pleasant.
