Recommended for a city break in Bologna

A cosy apartment quite close to the old town of Bologna. The communication with the host was very functional and helpful.

Poor value for money

The location was definitely the strongest part of our stay. It’s very close to the train station and about a 15–20 minute walk to the city center, which was quite convenient. Even though we visited in winter and couldn’t make use of it, having a garden was a nice extra. Communication with the host was also smooth and quick.

Unfortunately, the accommodation fell far short of expectations in terms of value for money. We have stayed in many European cities for much less and received a far better overall experience. On top of that, we had to pay a very high tourist tax that was not mentioned during the booking process, which further increased the total cost unnecessarily. The double bed was actually made up of two single beds pushed together, and they kept separating throughout the night. This was especially difficult as we were staying with our young child. The kitchen equipment was also insufficient—there wasn’t even a simple fruit knife or a small pot. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes inside the house as well. The upper floor was very warm while the lower floor remained cold, partly because the front door didn’t close properly and let in cold air constantly. The lack of carpets made the house feel even colder. We hadn’t brought slippers, but in accommodations like this, at least disposable guest slippers are usually provided. Another issue was that we couldn’t adjust the heating ourselves; there was a limit, and only the host could change it. This was challenging, especially with a small child. Lastly, there was no toilet paper or napkins in either the kitchen or the bathroom, which are very basic necessities that should have been prepared in advance.

location close to the train station - really good to take daily trips to other cities - 3 minutes walking from the apartment to the train station

Natural light in the property only comes from one large window, but becase the apartment sits on a corner, it doesn get a lot fo direct sunlight

Excellent location and accommodation for two people.

Great location, right behind the train station. Comfortable bed and all amenities including a washing machine and air con!!!

It is really for 2 people. My daughter found the sofa bed really uncomfortable with a line down the middle. We called it “the cave” as there was only one window and it lead into the block of flats’ parking space and was too public to leave it open.

It was a great stay, Bologna is a great city and there is lots to do, see and eat!!

Sandra the host was amazing, she really made us feel welcome. The location of the property is perfect as it is very close to the train station which made visiting Venice and Florence so easy. Great for getting a taxi from the train station to the airport too.

Everything is old inside:the bed, the sofa, chairs. The shower didn't stay in the support, the doors from the shower were broken. The socket was broken and is dangerous for the kids. I didn't like that you have to pay attention to the schedule for the garbage,otherwise you have to pay.

The location is very convenient, the main station (Bologna Centrale) is four minutes away from the apartment. There is a big Coop supermarket five minutes away on foot There are plenty of attractions near, there's no need of using public transport Wiffi connection nice and strong and well equipped kitchen, plenty of plates and kitchen equipment Comfortable beds and good client service

The station is near, as it is convenient there might be some people disturbing. The girls in the group didn't like to walk that place due to plenty of men trying to get to them Poor lighting, a few more could help, it's not comfortable to read in bed for example or to have dinner (too dark)

Ottimo alloggio in posizione strategica.

Ho viaggiato con la mia famiglia. Inizialmente avevamo prenotato un altro appartamento (monolocale su due piani) ma, qualche giorno prima il proprietario mi chiama e mi chiede se possiamo cambiarlo con un altro (monolocale con giardino) offrendomi il posto auto (che altrimenti sarebbe costato 15 euro al giorno). Tutto sommato siamo stati bene, il monolocale era pulito e accogliente.

La zona è comoda, in 10 minuti a piedi si è in centro, ma nei suoi pressi c' è una stradina frequentata da gente non proprio raccomandabile... attenti a non imboccarla!

Żeby móc odebrać klucze z safe boxa trzeba opłacić online podatek - w przeciwnym razie, gdyby ktoś musiał czekać z kluczem po 19 to taka atrakcja kosztuje 40 euro (brak informacji w poście obiektu).
