Loved the hotel, staff and onsen

Service staff were extremely attentive and remembered my preferences clearly even though they were minor. Room was very spacious and more than enough room for two. The baths were very enjoyable and the water was good. Breakfast and dinner was very good and I also enjoyed the alcohol served. I would say the ryokan experience was excellent and definitely worth staying. Staying in this ryokan is a highlight for my trip to Japan.
The ongoing renovation closed part of the hotel and hence made the place a little confusing. The bathwater at the onsen became quite hot indoors when no one was using it. Otherwise the hotel is a good experience.

Amazing hotel. Traditional feel with friendly helpful staff. Great location with the best Onsen bath, inside and outside. A wonderful experience.
