Honestly, a genuinely lovely stay in a gorgeous spot, and would stay again.

Beautiful location, so peaceful, though surrounded by birdsong. Saw deer a few times too, and very close to the cabin. Cosy and comfy space, and a relatively decent sized fridge! Lovely to have the table on the deck too.

The bed was a bit small, though comfortable enough. The Lodge would benefit from a feather duster for some of the cobwebs. Not appallingly bad, but just in the corners and above the bed. The water heater could do with some insulation as it comes on often to heat up and is a bit noisy.

The whole of our group who used the lodges enjoyed the weekend, and they suited our needs well.

Parking was limited but we managed, and some minor issues such as Kitchen Sink was leaking in the 6 x Berth Lodge. Bathroom light over the WHB didn't work. Wall mounted clock in the Kitchen area didn't work, but other than these few things - all good

Lovely property in a great location. Shame about the smells.

Great location with amazing views. Well stocked kitchen and separate toilet was useful. Beds were really comfy and property was generally clean.

Smell of the septic tank / drains when the windows were closed. Obviously a known issue given the numerous plug in air fresheners.

Electrical fault which meant we could not use the dishwasher without tripping most of the sockets or leaving it switched on.This was obvious on our arrival and must have been obvious to the person who cleaned it before our arrival.No written guide within the property on how to use the facilities or tips on the local area. The oven looked as though it had not been cleaned for several years.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lagnakeil lodge - very good value for money!

We loved the location and the view! Very nice place for family getaway. Out of busy town centre of Oban but yet close enough! The shower in bathroom was great. Nice layout of rooms and open plan lounge and dining /kitchen area. Host was very responsive. Cabin was clean and cosy.

It would have helped if there was a splace to plug in hair dryer or charge phones in all the bedrooms. And there are no mirrors in bedrooms - made it a bit difficult for everyone to get ready for my daughter's graduation with 1 mirror and plug in dining area. 😅 The water pressure of hot water in Kitchen was also very poor so a bit of a struggle to use hot water there.

Beautiful scenery, lovely comfortable facilities and a wonderful stay.

Clean and well tended and presented environment. The outside of the cabin is well kept and tidy. The interior of the cabin was clean, tidy, well presented, comfortable and well kept. The facilities were well thought out, clean and comfortable.

A miscommunication between booking.com and the hosts made the start of the stay difficult and distressing however this problem was quickly rectified.

Great Lodges with friendly yet non obtrusive owners.

Beautiful location, fairly secluded though within easy reach of local sights with a car. Owners left us there contact details in the lodge if we needed any assistance, however everything was perfect for us so we had no need to.

Comfortable lodge, good quality appliances, furniture etc. Having stayed on site I would hire a larger lodge. Site was well kept and owners are improving site.

It would have been good to meet the owners on arrival, however when we had a problem they were there immediately. I would have liked an information booklet in the lodge for reference.

Water was running brown we had to buy bottled water. Smell of mould in 2 of the bedrooms. Expected barbecue as pictured but none. Kitchen tap very shaky.

A magical stay with excellent owners and incredible views.

Where do I begin? We arrived to the most idyllic scenery, a loch from my kitchen window. The week we were there there was full sunshine, the sheep were lambing, daffodils out! We saw puffins on the Treshnish isles, and the owners even looked after our dog and took him on a walk with their dogs while we went on the trip (no dogs are allowed on the tours, for very apparent reasons once you see t!) The cabin was clean, spacious and so beautiful. The site is about 6 minutes drive from Oban, but it’s completely peaceful. I loved how the couple of days we arrived we heard the low bleating of adult sheep, and the three days before we left we heard lambs(so cute). We took a walk to the Barn (a local bar/restaurant) and discovered this centuries old church, and learned about clan burial stones. There was also this magical man sitting on a table who called us over and had the most whimsical conversation. When we left the kids were convinced he was a large Fae 😅 There were no negatives. It was the most magical stay!

Great location but lacking some services.

The location was great for nature lovers: soaked in a green landscapes only few minutes from Oban. Beds were very comfortable.

The location was not very clean and was missing some basics such as a coffe marker (any,even for filter coffe there was nothing) luckily we brought our moka. Only One pan to cook and It was scratched. No hair draier either. The reception was not open most of the time when we tried to ask. Laundry and dryer are tò be paid w coins. So overall the value Is sufficient because of the location.

Exceptional

A very friendly landlord who helped us with a few troubles that we had. The guesthouse was in a tranquil location with a beautiful view over a green hill. It was well equipped and we found anything we needed in the kitchen. And the dishwasher is definitely a plus. The beds were comfortable and the wooden furnishings a nice rustic ambience. The terrace is a wonderful space to sit outside and enjoy the quiet and the landscape - if the Scottish weather plays along... ; )
