Had a lovely relaxing stay at Chuchwood Valley during the summer, lodges very comfortable and have all you need including a private outside area and parking next to lodge. We were impressed with cleanliness of lodge and note the shower was very powerful. If you're looking for a secluded location to get away it all this is perfect.

It was clean and nicely furnished. There was every thing we needed including an iron and ironing board, toaster etc. The location was beautiful amongst the trees overlooking the stream and horses and just a ten minute walk to the beach. There was also a little shop and launderette if needed. We were met by the owner on arrival and he was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Nothing, though I wish I’d known about the sauna beforehand as I would have taken my swimming costume with me.

Very friendly helpful staff, really made you feel welcome. The cabins are great and as expected, kitchen is well equipped. Bed was reasonably comfortable and overall did what it said on the tin. Would defo stay again
They don’t supply towels which may be my fault for not reading the description properly. Steps down the cabin are not well lit at night. There is an automatic light which comes on as you get to the bottom
